I had grabbed this tag twice in the past (I was the who united Blockhead, the egg and the duck last May). Perhaps it would be best if someone rechecks in the daytime. And if it's still not there, let them have the tag. I'm leaving tomorrow for West Palm Beach, Florida and wouldn't be able to place a good new tag til the end of next week. Am taking a bike to Florida but it will be in the back of a pick up truck. Father /daughter road trip.

This really upsets me. I caught holy hell for not putting the egg with my first tag, but it all worked out in the end. I don't know how isolated that area is, but I had great apprehension when I put it in the front door area of the AMA Museum. I was also the one who put the multi-tool in the bag, not that it was a big deal, shoot, I'm just flabbergasted over this. DAMNIT!!!

I'm disappointed but it happens.
Another tag game I'm in has gone through a few mascots and obviously this one has. I've talked to a couple of other Boy Scout dads who geo-cache and they also said that it happens now. One of them observed that they go for a while and then people get a little less observant to really hide things and their "treasure box" disappears. Hopefully somebody can check again and even check with whoever cuts the grass at the park. We could always bring back blockhead! I kinda liked the little guy. ![]() But game on!

Sad day.....maybe Mr. Egg finally hatched, flew the coop. Didja notice any eggshells in the area? any feathers, tracks?
Well, if he's replaced with something else, (course it's up to the discretion of the purchaser/placer...) I vote for someting similiar that can be inscribed like the egg was. It was kinda fun to see all the names on the egg. I'd be happy to send a donation to the Mr. Egg relief fund if needed.
