The Egg and I!
Okay, here's yur pics.
![]() jMr. Egg is buried just in front of the left-most bush, behind the new bench just to the left of the pyramid. If ya go get him, please leave the area looking undisturbed. Folks work pretty hard to keep this place nice. ![]() ![]() These folks were working, all volunteer, putting in bushes and new benches and a picnic table. They said there are many volunteers but they are the only ones under 80 years old! ![]() If ya visit the chapel, please say a prayer for the Sinkuls, friends of mine who are undergoing some hard times right now. ![]() Just enuff room for a preacher and six parishioners. Ho ![]() Hope youse guys have enjoyed watching this trip as much as we did riding it. BTW, the pic of the guy holding the egg in Tecalutla, Mexico is Lightening Larry Johnson, of the famous Junior Johnson racing family. He's ex-pat down there, running an independent bike shop and hiding from the oil companies 'cause he has the answer to all our energy woes. ![]() ![]()

Dang George, I ain't been through there since I was on my way back to Texas in 1995 from Alaska!!! Not sure that little chapel was there back then. I don't think I'm gonna run over there any time soon, but a heck of a run for the egg. Nice job, from outhouse in Moonshine to somewhere not really expected, by way of Mexico and Central America.

Fabulous egg drop, George. Great ride!
![]() It brings a tear to my eye that Mr. Egg now sits smack in the middle of the North American continent and the Good Ol' USA after his great Southern North American ride. Of course it still is in the middle of nowhere ;) ![]() ![]() But someone will be there soon. Otherwise I'll take the ride even though I've been there before. ![]() |

I keep looking at my calendar to see if I can do Big Basin CA with the ST group and then go get the egg and get to Dawson City in time for D2D.

Farming is keeping me in Illinois for now...
I am suppose to head for the Blue Ridge Parkway again June 16th IF,,, I get planting done in time... If that Egg hasn't move in 1 month,,, I will move it then... Course,,, the chances of it setting that long with Mac and George out roaming the US of A is,,, 7.9%... You do realize that you and George were front page news in the Local paper here for your Engine install story... Cindy would let you and George move in here so,,, just know you are always welcome... static egg
Long as the discussion continues I'll leave the egg alone. But I'll be back thru the area at least two more times this year. If it stagnates, I'll take it someplace remote.

George, it's like the ST tag, you can't move your own. I'll talk with you Saturday.

Mr Egg in Kansas

Wonder if there is any way to add "in Kansas" to the thread title in order to get some more local participation. If it there in early September, even I have a shot at it again.

If it is still sitting in KS in a month someone let me know. I'll go get it. I would get it before that but I am booked every weekend. I have rides and then vacation.
