Where is the Egg?

Tag dropped!

Since I was the last SMIB with the egg, and I technically don't even live in SMIBville, I figured I'd send her off to the outside world...but not too far.

You'll find this spot on the way to Pig Point, the oldest historical site in Maryland, maybe even in Delaware and Virginia. In fact it's only about a half mile away from the site.

Here's the view across the road:

And here's where the egg is located - notice the guy line for the utility pole off to the right:

I added another item, courtesy of Joints4sale (sorry, no contraband

) and stuck the egg under/in front of the log behind the fence, then covered it up with some bark to keep her toasty. The bike is pointing almost directly at the location in the first picture.

The park that the tag is near was closed (has weird hours on account of lack of funds/personnel according to the website) but I imagine there are some amazing views of the bay if you can get in on a day it's open.

39 down here in NC. Thought about racing you all to the morning tag then thought...brrrr...beer better. Seriously did consider riding for this around 10p. Ended up riding for the wildcard tag instead.

I did on the Spiral Highway in Idaho. Zeroed right in on your gorgeous P-46.

Hi NATOR lurkers!

I have lurked this thread since it was born, and now I had my chance and snagged it.

100 miles at mid to high 30sF is a pretty good test of your equipment

For the record, there is no poison ivy here. Trust me.

That's the first thing I looked for to make sure I wouldn't be screwing the next guy over...I almost stuck it behind the log, but there were some thick briars back there and you'd have to keep your gear on to make sure you didn't get stuck. Looking back, that wouldn't have been that bad an idea since I'm sure Jack didn't want to pull his gloves off in 30-something degree weather
