I have ridden at least on day every month since I got my bike April of last year. I expect to continue with this. Mr. Egg won't get snowbound. However, I do think it is time he went South or West for the winter. I just hope he comes back and visits some day.

Glad to hear you're volunteering to pass thru here heading south before the 15" of snow arrives.

I guess this is why he has never been to Rhode Island before. I would go get him an dbring him back to NH, but that just seems selfish.

I'd been giving serious thought to going and getting him tonight, but I wouldn't be able to drop him at a new location until Saturday at the earliest.

My next chance to make a long ride won't be until Sunday 12/19. If he is still languishing in RI, I will re-claim the tag and move it closer to NYC/NJ. We can't leave him to be buried in snow!!!

This North Carolinian just finished his finals and needs a really really long ride -> like to Maine to visit his parents. Currently evaluating whether that's a safe option and whether grabbing Mr. Egg and taking him back south with me is also an option.

3 free weeks -> oh what to do.

If you can time your ride to be in Maine by noon Sunday you should be able to beat the forecast for snow up here. But you will need really good heated gear and gigantic brass balls !!! Daytime high temps around 30, into the teens after dark. If I were going to make that trip, I would ride during daylight Sat. to Maryland or Jersey, then again Sunday AM to Maine. Stopping in RI to pick up Mr Egg of course (he is just a few miles off I 95) !!

Another bump, and definitely NOT A LEGITIMATE GRAB.

I have to spend a few weeks in Rhode Island, and since I hadn't seen the egg for a few months and it was probably feeling neglected, I decided to pay it a visit on my way to Newport. It is still there, but I think we owe EOD3MC some thanks for the camo bag as some of the leaves had blown away, the bag was exposed, and I still didn't notice it at first. All the roads are clear so someone come and rescue it!

If someone can get him down here we'll take him further. Didn't make it to Maine and vacation ends Sunday night. Not enough time to ride up North and get back.
