Weird coincidence, fellow ADVRider I met this afternoon (HavaBusa on this site) is headed to Montana later this season. He'll be reading this so maybe he'll take up the challenge unless someone beats him to it.

Here's a map from west of Kingman to his rest stop. (You can zoom and go to street view to see the steps, but they must'a gone thru there at the same time of day as I, the glare of the setting sun kind'a washes out the landscape.

And my picasa album is all updated with the last series of pictures.

Here's a link to my SpotWalla page tracing the entire trip from 4-25 to 5-9, 2012. Eggy had a good time. Note the last six miles at the Kingman end, all ruff dirt into my back yard.

If no one picks him up in the next couple months, I can always move him again into a higher traffic zone.

I found this old picture of Oatman.
I once saw a Donkey take a dump on the front wheel of some guys Harley Bagger.
His friends were laughing about it, but he was not.
Eggy will be traveling through here soon.

It was nice to meet you and eggy Wednesday in Cool Springs.

Teresa says hi.

We're back home in LHC. We got to Oatman right when the two restaurants were rolling up the sidewalks, so we fed the jackasses then WE ate in beautiful Bullhead City!

We also met a French couple in Oatman that are here on vacation riding a Harley Dresser and traveling from LA to Chicago along Route 66.

We stayed out late and had to fight those real heavy winds that kicked up, all of a sudden.

Surprised to see that you posted those pictures so fast.


I'll check the board more often and see where you're headed.

Good to meet you too, Ray (and Teresa.) Ride safe, and watch out for Burros. Looked like Teresea was taking some pics when I passeed youse guys, post up a couple of those for Merkur Man.

Merkur Man, where in Kingman? I've been here over 10 years but met very few ADV folks... just luck to meet Ray and Teresa yesterday...

It's been a treat, f olks, carrying Eggy 'round the country. Hope to see him again soon.

Had a nice little ride this morning. Found Mr Eggy tucked away under his rock:



He had a really nice view except is was a little hazy this morning:



And I am not making this up, but a Donkey was walking down the road right at the time I picked up Eggy.
He is to the left side of the picture. He did not walk past the bike, just turned and walked down around that guard rail.
I guess my Yellow bike scared him.



Not much activity in Oatman this morning:






I did find one local resident who was not afraid of Mr Eggy:



He is now safe in Kingman. More pictures tomorrow after work.

I had originally planned to drop him off in Valley OF The Gods above Medicine Hat, UT but my wife wanted to meet him, so...

The egg pouch picture has been deleted. I'm sorry if I have offended anyone by showing its contents. My intention was to allow the past egg carriers to see if their items were still in there.

In case anybody is wondering, here is the current contents of the egg pouch. I'm not so sure that anthing else can be stuffed in the bag.

The Egg will be "dropped" next weekend at the Overland Expo, which is taking place at Mormon Lake just south of Flagstaff.
I will be there on Saturday (19th). I seem to remember that the past Tag items (I think it was Blockhead or the Chicken) have been handed over to another inmate, instead of being hidden. Do the rules allow this, what say ye? If I meet someone at the event who wishes to take up the challange, then we can take/post pictures of the hand-off. If not, then Eggy will be tucked away somewhere safe.

I will be taking Eggy to see some of the local sights around the area, until next weekend.
