I didn't think about this till later; however, the finger is NOT intended towards Robert & Mary Davis, nor any of their relatives.
Tom & I will be doing some route scouting on Monday for the Fuzzy Beaver II Rally. We'll be leaving the shop at 9am if anyone wants to tag along. You'll need dual sport tires that have some life left in them. There's a steep slope on Trail 81 we may be going up. A big bike would have to bypass this trail & meet us on the other side. Mike

got the tag and a free hat!
SNAG
Dug up our chicken friend from the planter at Tellico Motorcycle Outfitters. Got to meet Mike and chat with him for a bit. Thanks for the hat Mike! ![]() ![]() So then me and chicken spent the afternoon chugging around southeast Tennessee. First we stopped at Tanasi to grab the East TN tag and model our new hat. ![]() ![]() Then we had a look around Fort Loudon and found the heavy artillery ![]() ![]() Then we rode through the Dragon to see the Mini Coopers and the squids and the LEOs. Back into TN on the Cherohala Skyway and then we stopped at the Burra Burra Mine in Ducktown and tried on a crucible ![]() ![]() ---And now the NEW TAG LOCATION:--- Finally, here is where we parted ways. ![]() ![]() ![]() Chicken is hiding in a little hole up against the concrete foundation of the sign near the exit.

FLUX, sorry I missed you. I was at a rally giving a presentation on roads in the area.
You missed getting the chicken by about 8 hours. The shop was so busy I couldn't jump on the web site to post that it had fled the coop. Not sure if the rules allowed me to anyway. We're going riding Monday. You can meet us at Shuller Creek Rd & the Hiwassee River at 10am if you can sneak out of work. Smith Mtn, Trail 81(if it doesn't rain), Whiteoak Flats, 44, and Star Mtn. Mike

Wild Hair!
I was over checking on the NC Tag when someone posted up saying the NA Tag was in the mountains. I looked and saw that it was 165 miles for my house and it was 3:00 PM. I have two friends out in Macon and Clay counties so I said what the heck, it too nice of a day not to ride; and off I went.
When I first got the Ocoee Whitewater Center sign I thought I had been Bruced. I called my wife and once again walking around the sign and suddenly discovered the chicken. Wow..the things that are making me happy these days I just got in so I'll have to find a spot for the chicken tomorrow. Great fun! ![]() ![]() Had to get this picture:

New Tag!
Sorry cat...I got back to Hendersonville close to midnight....what a ride!
Here is a great tag so you can come and visit Hendersonville. I made it easy on myself after the long ride yesterday. Take some time to park and then walk up the house and farm area...it is a great place to spend an afternoon. ![]() The chicken is behind the sign hiding! ![]() ![]() Good luck! JIM

Since the poll closed, I revised the game rules. Let me know if it doesn't make any sense.
