How exactly am I supposed to sleep knowing that NoVa could post the new tag anytime? This is the kind of serious shit that keeps me awake at night....

Sent from the voices in my head and transcribed by their drinking buddy...

Why yes, yes I did. . ... Sorry for the delay, turns out I can't post pics from the road, and even updating with my primitive tin cans and string device was terribly unpleasant. Soo, I did what any good tagger would do. I turned around and rode back to base to post pics.

When I launched around 8 am, I wasn't sure where I'd go. Would it be Rutt's Hutt for a ripper, or something more cosmic. . .. Well, I went cosmic. So, with no further delay, I present to you the new substitute mascot [insert name], and the tag:

Another view:

I parked way in the back:

You'll find this:

At the base of the left leg of an old metal chair you'll find next to an old metal bench, each are in the area past the parking on the right, [insert name] is covered in pine debris, and marked by an "A" like so:

Looking from hide to bike:

It was a fun ride. Glad I included the hydration system. Made blasting down and back much more doable:

Happy Tagging!

(in case you are on the fence, here's a bonus clip of Alton Brown's review of the joint)

Last bonus pic, so that you'll know exactly where to look, or you'll know if you've been Bruced:

Today is maintenance day. I've even got a buddy coming over with a few tires that he needs help changing. If it weren't for that, I'd already be in Charleston by now.

But I will be in Charleston at the end of next week. Without Gimpy around, it just might sit that long in SC. Just sayin...

Whoever recovers the mascot is free to etch/drill/dremel my name -- the fine folks from USPS delivered him/her Saturday evening in a mighty polished state. Didn't want to fiddle with how to make him/her more name entry friendly vice making a Sunday tag, so I gladly pass that responsibility to others!

That stuff can wait. Go get it.
Fetch.. Take Brandon with you
I bet he likes hotdogs.

I have a hunting weekend this Fri/Sat near Holly Shelter.
how far is that from Charleston? I could make a short detour on the way home Sunday.

"I'm not dead yet"...signed, Eggy

Great to hear the NA-TOR is on the move. Thanks Nova...

You gave me an idea. Uh OH!
If I had the address and the proximity, I would do the spiritual thing.

Grab this new mascot and drop it in (near) TH's mailbox. This would at least be like driving a funeral past the home of the deceased.

Maybe it'll jog a memory. I know, I know...we may loose another egg, but the newbee may get some of the Precious power.

Yes, I was on acid but I moved on to the hard stuff

I haven't givin up on TH. It just don't make sense, to post the grab and then keep it. That just ain't right! One of you guys near Manassas, goto his house and politely ask him for the egg.
