Before Mike took it upon himself to create a new mascot, Blockhead was first, before the chicken OR the egg!

So, tomorrow night, there is going to be a showdown between the chicken, the egg, and the blockhead, if CycleJohn keeps his word and shows up.

I would gladly take the Blockhead and use it for the next tag, restoring the integrity of this thread. Otherwise, folks, it's going to be, let me hear the drumroll......

Oh, yeah, I did actually get up early this morning and get the tag and egg. It was not a handoff.

Now, can I go back to bed?

p.s., I did salute the fallen soldiers while I was at the memorial. I was a major in the medical corp for two years at Fort Meade, Maryland, and have nothing but the utmost respect for our soldiers. Happy Memorial Day to all!

Can anyone hook me up with directions to the "EAR".. Think id like to try and be there tues night to see what happens.

Blinker U the only one that is going to be able to put a stop to this mess. U are going to have to come up with a decision. I like the chicken b/c it is weatherproof. It is obivious to me that doc has the tag(s). So either PM him and let him know which one to use or whatever. I would hate to see this thread derail. I know whomever chicknapped the chicken was doing it out of a kindred spirit but it kinda hurt the game. But I am sure after tomorrow nite we will be back on track.

O.K., since both TFM and AmadvikingJr. have agreed I have the tag, I thought I'd move things along.

Here's the new tag:

It is a "Fort" that George Washington had his men build in 1777. Considering what this thread has been like in the past few days, it is appropriately named.

Please note the time stamp on the photo. Unfortunately, the park guard kicked me out after I took a few photos, and the gate doesn't open till 8 a.m. The good side of this is that no one will have to dodge deer in the dark.

CycleJohn, if you want to bring Squarehead back into the picture, just be there at 8 a.m., grab the two mascots, and re-instate Mr. Squarehead! Then you won't have to go to the Ear Inn in NYC (because the tag is in NJ!).

So, it is out of my hands now folks. Which mascot is used is up to the person who gets this tag. Hopefully, the gang will let CycleJohn have first dibs.
