North American Tag-O-Rama!

I promise to get the next tag placed in no more than two weeks. Maybe even by the end of the weekend if I can talk the missus into a ride

As for where Most likely within a days ride of north Alabama.

As for a new mascot. I will have to think on that for awhile.

So here is an idea. How about we use a beer? We did this in the Southeast ToR game for a while, and it was really neat, but it fizzled and died eventually. Basically, the tag dropper hid a beer instead of a mascot. A good beer, not freaking Natty Light. The grabber got the tag, beer or not, and if the beer was there, enjoyed it at a later date. He/She would then drop the tag with a different beer...preferably local.

Just a thought. Being a beer junky and homebrewing addict, I thought it was a cool idea. Those that didn't drink just dropped the same beer that they grabbed.

Like Digiamo, I kind of get attached to the eggs and get a bit pissed when they disappear. A beer would be far more enjoyable than watching another eggnapping.

I'm not a beer drinker...but that's a killer idea RD!!! ^^^

and as far as this game's mascots have gone, I think this would be a great alternative!!

btw...

While it is totally up to the person dropping the tag, I like it!

We had a different "social" alternative idea for a while in another tag game, where the person dropping the tag left enough somewhere to pay for a drink at a restaurant, bar, or even a soda machine at an overlook. Usually it seemed to be left with a bartender. One time somebody went high-end and splurged something like $15 on a basic meal.

Seems like hiding it would be a nightmare... Plus won't it go bad sitting in the heat for weeks?
I like the idea but not so sure the practicality
