Barely saved it, so all is well.

Waiting for the glue to dry now, it was a very sharp upholstery nail (see disc).

Just kidding man, better check that garage floor for any "strays" you may have missed....
(picked a 1" finish nail outta my rear tire about 6 weeks ago...and wondered where it came from..when I swept the floor up a week later I found out...found 4 more escap-ee's from a project i did 6 months ago...my bad...ooooooops)

OMG AM I SOAKED!! It poured down rain on us for the ride home. Still a great ride none the less.

Was fun riding to get the egg. Even funner watchin' oPaulo paw his way around in the poison ivy for a few minutes before I finally told him he was smack dab in the middle of a huge patch of it! HOT DAMN, thanks for the ADV sticker! What a cool & unexpected surprise! They'll be something extra in the bag for the next person too. You can be sure of that. We rode home in the pouring rain just after snatching the tag and finding the egg. Not to worry though. It'll rest safe here at my house tonight and it'll be on the move again really, really soon. Until then...

So the rain scared us off today but looks like we've got a good group of riders coming along to transplant the egg tomorrow. My gear is just about dried out from yesterday.
