I say Son
.. well I have my evil plans in place... now to pull off the mission... Egg is happily napping, now that it is out of the cold and damp, not to mention having to endure tourists from all over, .. well you get the picture... time... time time time... I had thought of a place to place ... and even bounced the idea off someone, I now have a new idea..... it may take me a few days to get it there though...

I'm kinda glad you went and got the egg. I've been watching her for a while, waiting for her to come closer to us. If she was still there, I was going to see if I could snag her tomorrow. That would have strained the marital relations a little

Welcome aboard. Since you appear not to have Mr. Egg, was your post a suggestion for where to go next?

Still looking forward to the new location for the next TAG... I hear that the egg may go to new heights on this trip.. I think it had been planned for a special day that was open to motorcycles only, along a road in the north east.
I hope all is well with the ride and now that the weather is getting better in the area maybe more riders will be out and about. My trip home has been made and I got even more rain along the way, something about bringing it along with me. Now back to work and more local tags for this inmate. Had a great time with it and will watch for the next time I might be able to snag the tag and take it for a long ride again.

You're the top!
Egg.... egg, egg, egg.... .retrieved from hell, egg enjoyed a few relaxing days in Midcoast Maine... perhaps a bit too relaxed.. on the afternoon of the 4th.. I found Egg sprawled amongst the empties..
![]() .clearly having been on a wicked massive bender.. figuring weight to beer ratio's I figure Egg will wake up from the hangover, heh sometime on Monday, about now .... and if Egg thought sniffin tourist arse was bad... heehee So enough of this lazing about.. time to find a new drop for said inebriated Egg... Accompanied by a couple of fellow cohorts we made the Journey to the Highest point in the Northeast, where the highest wind speed ever recorded took place. Mount Washington has a long history, as does the road built in the 1800's that rises up from the valley floor. Not for the timid, this 8 miles climb up, up ,up starts in a cute forest, on an undulating narrow road.. soon the tree line is approached the growth gets very short... above us, in the moment we have to look up, we see clouds, and an occasional glimpse of a car coming down a switchback higher up the mountain. breaking out of the tress we almost immediately penetrate the clouds, and I do mean penetrate... I don;t ever recall riding in worse conditions. This was no ordinary fog, but thick heavy clouds... clouds that are being driven by steady 30 mph winds with gusts to somewhere around 45... within hundreds of feet the visor dews up and is useless... a bit farther on and my glasses are fogged .. off they come and thankfully my eyesight is good enough with out them... unbeknown to me, number three in the chain of bikes mounting the climb, is nearly blind without his glasses and given conditions, the only thing that got him up the road was following the YELLOW jacket of rider number 2 ( thanks Richard!!)... in fact #3 was ill equipped but 1 & 2 didn;t make much mention of it, although there were moments of shared concern.... Now.. why the person in the freeking Hummer needed to be there, I have no clue, but they maintained a steady 3 to 4 mph most of the way up... making stability all the more challenging..... Of course Egg, still passed out and non the wiser, rode all the way without complaint... of course being stuff in a black bag, along with some Heavy Metal Fans and some heavy metal itself ( major clue there), all stuffed inside a ziplock, all stuffed inside the Tank bag... made for a quiet journey, and while I would have normally done my selective warp speed ride over, we rode at a more casual pace to accommodate the group of 3. We attempted to revive Egg, but it was useless.. so we propped Egg up on a rock and took a picture of said drunken state... we had no marker to draw on Egg's face... shame that... ![]() Amazing how well Egg holds the liqueur.. you can;t even tell Egg is plowed, or awake even! OK.. So at the top.. visibility is about 25 feet. The wind is howlin... it was get to the pisser, get a drink .. find a safe place for Egg to sleep it off.... and get gone down the hill. Wandering around the summit in these conditions, one could get lost and fall off I suppose... There are several building on top. The "tip top house", the Gift shop, and the combo Tourist building/Electrical building. The electrical building is joined to the tourist building with a roof section only... The electrical building is a semi circle shape. ON the back side of the electrical building is this sign. ![]() This next picture has the sign in the left edge.. your target is in the right edge of the photo.. ![]() Here we are zooming in on the target..... ![]() And below is the hole in the rock into which Egg has been placed, along with some nifty parting gifts!! See above clue... ( perhaps this can add some fun... what is waiting with Egg, is of course a surprise... but if one takes the clues given and understand that this is about motorcycles.. .I'm thinking someone might be able to guess... ) ![]() Reach down into the top hole and feel for the Ziplock and it is all yours... . Bring a guy with skinny arms! $14 to ride up the Mountain. THIS ROAD IS NOT OPEN ALL THE TIME! WEATHER CAN AND WILL SHUT IT DOWN! The Road is a BUSINESS and is NOT OPEN AT NIGHT. There are NO GUARDRAILS.. do not bring Timmy tremors on this ride! If you have a fear of Heights DO NOT ATTEMPT this.. we were somewhat blessed by the fog as it hid the 100's feet plus drop offs. http://www.mountwashingtonautoroad.com/ http://www.mountwashington.org/weather/conditions.php so I have laid an Egg ( figuratively mind you,not into to "doing" drunk anything) (jus sayin) on the top of New England... go get it!! ..ps.. thanks for the illuminating surprises!... the jack thing looked a bit useless, until a friend pointed out how it could sit in many positions, shining light .. and is small enough to be placed inside some areas for illumination.. it lives int he tank bag now... cheers!!!

Wain Wain Wain
The Northeast has been pelted by way too much rain over the last month... we hit the 4th highest recorded rain or June... but it wasn;t just rain, it was clouds... they hung on for weeks with rain on 23/4 June days... blech...
Glad you made it home safe.... It was a privilege to be able to get in the game... as I mentioned to a friend... this could go one for a long time... if we are lucky, Egg will make it all over the country, and come back again... and they said "doesn't the game ever end?"... nope.. no defined end...
