HELP!!!....This thread is dying!!!!!

Ya know that if the egg had been placed somewhere up in the NWT along the haul road...it probably wouldda been picked up 5 times over the last 2 weeks???

It's like when you were a kid, and someone hit the baseball far enough that it went down into the nearby ravine. Game over!...and it took weeks for someone to either get a new ball to play with, or for someone to actually get ambitious enough to climb down and rummage through the brush to find the old ball in order for the game to resume.

(IF) the egg ever comes back into play...could we PLEASE put it somewhere that does NOT resemble a distant ravine????

I much prefer the 'Hot Potatoe' egg that was in play fer awhile here....that waz alot more fun!!! (I thought I might actually get a chance to play with the TAG too, had it come out thisaways)

Along that line, I just posted it in the Maine TOR forum.

The problem is not the location, but perhaps not enough publicity. And the weather, which hasn't been terribly cooperative around here either recently. And the fact that most people can't shoot off on multi-day trips without some prior planning. I doubt anyone ever says, "Gee, I think I'll take off for the NWT this afternoon and do the Haul Road," either.

Chin up! The passport office seem to be unclogged now. I put in my renewal in mid-May and the new passport showed up less than two weeks later. First-timers will probably take longer; dunno if that's your case.

They just don't make games like they used to. All the budget issues and such, they have to cut corners somewhere.

Yeah. Ever since it went over the border it's been broken. Guess I took that whole 'North America' thing too literal. Thinking I may ride up and deliver it to a Dunkin' Donuts or :shudder a Starbucks so it can get back into play. Should be able to blast that out in a weekend. Who knows? A ride like that might even be fun.

About Dave's passport...

...I'm guessing that's going to take several months to clear.

uh, we have rule #3 in the Richmond tag.....no whining...

get on the bike and ride, because after that whine (with no govt. subsidized cheese) it ain't too likely some krazy-krumb will be delivering it to your corner donut shop fer 'ya.....bwaaaahaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

hey, I have an idea....the IB is happenin' in a week or so, put a bounty on it, and maybe one of those guys will grab it, and bring it out west.....but they might just take it to the San Grio De Criste mountains....heheheheheheheh
