Well, Egg decided he wanted to accompany me to work last night so I took a couple shots of him there.

DC-10 flight deck

He got hungry so I left him in teh fridge for a bit

After he ate, well........

He then assisted with the refuel of a 747.

More shots later today.

I can see it now, explaining to the FAA how someone "overflew" thier destination by 2 hours, because the egg was holding the plane hostage, and getting it's picture taken.....heheheheheheeh

did they do a cavity search on the egg, to make sure he was not carrying "restricted" items on board???

To kick off the day, Egg hung out in 02TAC's 02 TAComa.

We then were off for a little spiritual nourishment.

After the service Egg went after teh cheesecake.

Later in the day, Egg tried his hand at some RC rock crawling. He did come in handy at one point.

After some good eats it was off to the drop.

Here's me standing where I should've been able to look down and find it:

After kicking around the hedgerow & woods for 45 minutes in the wind & rain, I'm comfortable in writing that the bag and egg are clearly not there.

I can see exactly where the photo showed it under leaves and there's just trash from people drinking in the woods. (A high school's right down the street.)

Here's the rub: I DID find another game's tag a short distance away! They use a very nice camoflaged PVC pipe with a screw off cap, pipe-bomb style.

But inside were all sorts of geo-caching trinkets:

It was far enough away that I don't think it had anything to do with the egg missing, so it's back where I found it.

With the rain of yesterday and today, I highly doubt I got bruced. (What other idiot would ride in this for a photo of a vandalaized egg?

) So I'll look a little more, but think the clock (see page 1 for rules) is running before I need to set another tag.

That sucks, I placed it up near the tree as there was no evidence of folks tramping around near the tree, but I guess you never can tell.

Found the little guy!

Went back in the woods and noticed a big footprint on the branch that the egg was supposed to be tucked next to. The branch had been slightly rolled and crushed down, totally covering the black bag.

Here he is, back on the Maryland side of the Delaware border marker. We're heading for the Bay Bridge, which was "interesting to cross earlier with the gusts and blowing rain. They weren't allowing empty semi trucks to cross.

New place coming. If any of you are on one of the long distance forums, please post up to try for a long distance rider, heading south!
