I don't see any mention of a green fuel pack (or a drop down menu) anywhere on the Rotopax site.
Am I missing something?

Green with envy

I think green was only for a limited time.

I just ordered a one gallon pack on ebay (ebay seller rykerjas).
http://myworld.ebay.com/ebaymotors/rykerjas

I initially tried to order direct using the rotopax website and the ADV discount code in the original post but there must be a $50 minimum or something 'cause it kept telling me the cart total wasn't enough to use the coupon.
Then I thought about trying the free shipping code you mentioned in post #239 but realized that if I use ebay the pack is priced cheaper and includes free shipping.
Guess a few extra minutes of price comparison on my end saved me some $$ today.

RotoPax on R1200GS Pictorial

And...as an alternative...the 2 Gallon RotoPax fit very nicely into a 35 L Caribou Top Case!
So...you have even more protection.

Storage Container

I was just on the rotopax website and saw that they have come out with a compatible storage container. Do any of you use it? How waterproof is it?

Thanks

I've seen these things and they look sturdy-just like the rest of Rotopax products.

http://www.rotopax.com/Storage-Pack-Single.html

A few of the Arkansas guys I rode with last year at the SLAP had these mounted to their tail racks-for tools and the like.

I'd like to see if anyone else has any first hand experience with these.

It was stated earlier in this thread that the white water tank is a different type of plastic that will leach if you put fuel in it.

Who's rack is this? It's interesting. I know it's not TT but not sure. Looks big but may work for me for a big trip. Looks like it's an Orange 990 with Washington state (USA) plates.

I'd like to know if this bike belongs to an inmate?

I haven't checked in for a while and was disappointed to see the comments that people feel we were trying to deceive them into spending more money.

We have an issue with our system working with the PayPal module and have our web guy looking into it.

As for all the adjustments with pricing I would like to explain.

It took us a year to obtain our certifications from the EPA for our fuel packs to be legally sold in this country due to new regulations that went into place in 2009.
We decided that we would offer retail discounts in order to get people using our products, grow the business and that we would wait to approach dealers until our product passed it's testing and approval process.

Once it had passed and we had been granted an EPA number we decided the next step would be to place them in local power sports stores.
In order to do this we have had to tighten up our discounts to allow the dealers to make a fair margin. We went from a 20% discount both here and on ebay to a 5% average discount on ebay and a 10% here. The thing we neglected to consider was the free shipping offered on some ebay items.

Anyway, I want everyone to know that the ADVrider group has been one of our largest and best customer groups and we would like to show our appreciation. As we are targeting the ATV and 4X4 dealers to begin with I can offer your choice of either a 15% OFF coupon or a FREE SHIPPING (Continental U.S.) coupon. You can simply enter each coupon to determine which one will be your best savings depending upon your location.
I cannot promise this discount will be available long term so use them as soon as possible.

15% Coupon is ADVRIDER
FREE SHIPPING Coupon is: FREESHIP
(Minimum 40.00 purchase is required)

If you made a purchase after April 1st 2010 email me and I will get you a credit for an additional 5% of your order.

Sorry again for all the confusion on pricing.

Any questions or issues in the future please feel free to call or email me directly.

Thanks for your support!

Jason.
Can I please get the actual ADVRider discount amounts, choices & codes. I wanted to order 2 - 1 gallon gas containers, 2 LOX Pack Mounts (I think), and one Pack Mount extension and I didn't know what the best way to do the discount was on the website. I already signed up as a member on the website so that is already taken care of. I'm looking at mounting 2 of the containers on my bike, but at this point have not quite figured out if I'm doing it double stacked on the rear rack, 2 separate ones on each pannier/luggage side rack or something else with maybe the L-Brackets. Thanks.

Question RotoPax for GSA

Has anyone mounted these to a GSA? I've been thinking about where to mount mine, and so far, assuming I mount low (i.e keep CG lower), the only option seems to be drilling into the panniers. Not sure I want to do that yet. I've also considered just putting 1 gallon in each pannier, since they're pretty thin.

Thoughts, anyone? Thanks!
