So you are now going to switch to a Safari tank on the DR and adapt the above fairing to it as well, right?

I was going to adapt the fairing to fit the IMS tank I tried it on for size and it wasn't far off.

I thought long and hard about getting a safari tank but a number of factors have put me off I mostly don't like the width of the thing and the fact that there a prick to take off.

I decided not to use that fairing because I want to come up with my own design instead of copying Alberto's design.

I would NEVER make my bike that uguly, I mean come on look at the state of it.
The only thing that's designed with any common sense is the fairing and the dash, the whole bike is a massive fuck up by KTM even the owner thinks KTM has gone backwards with the 690.

I noticed at the start you listed some mods as DRZ400 suspension, I know you can put the forks on a dr650, but I wasn't aware that you could do the same with the rear, is it the whole swingarm or just the shockie?

So basically you have cut up frame sitting there that you don't know what to do with.

Why don't you sell the engine to Mezo so there is a chance of his DR ever seeing the world outside his living room? The man is so desperate that he is now ordering Renazco seats in multiples.
