think ive over done it with the farkle ram mounts lol,
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() well i just brought and installed a 2nd double ball ram mount, as the doubles only a fraction more than a single, just wanted to space them out, with 2 ram mounts at a time |

I have an opportunity to buy an unmolested 2001 from a friend. It's got about 10,000 miles on it. The guy hasn't ridden it much over the past couple of years. It's got sta-bil in the fuel tank. Fluids need to be changed as well. Being an almost 12 year old bike, should I look into replacing the rear shock and the fork springs or are they still ok?

My friend also rides one from the same generation. He did Ohlins front and rear two seasons ago and the difference is amazing. However, I'd also ride it as is and see what you think. No reason to jump to conclusions. I completely agree on new clutch/brake fluid and I'd do coolant as well.
