Hi gang, long time, no type.....

My little brother has recently returned from down south (Antarctica), and is looking to throw his leg over...... A bike of course

He has his heart set on a F650 non Dakar. I am not going to enter the argument, he has been around Aus twice in cars, has ridden bikes for over 25yrs, and mum reckons he is big enough to make up his own mind.

So, Detlef, hit me with the good stories. I have already put him onto your travels and photos. He likes.

Eso (are you still around...?). Want a quick hassle free sale of your steed, assuming you still have it?. I only ask as last time we spoke you weren't sure it ticked your boxes and were considering something else.

And to all other ROARers, know of any others on the market?

I guess he would be open to others, but for some reason he is keen on the Beeemer.

Damn it... sounds like I missed a nice ride .

going to Sydney again over Easter.... and one other w/e... not sure when yet.

maybe in April/May I can get away, found my 650 with a front flat last w/e I think it feels rejected since the R1100R moved in .

In August I plan to go to Norway for a holiday on a retrieval mission

I remember it before the bridge ... There were a few good bridges that crossed the railway line up around Bulli area that were good jumpers too. Probably all gone now.

thats the bush patch we used for our wargames and everything else...cnr of Daisy St and Elliotts Rd...and the old stockyards at the level crossing..dont know what year it was and I dont actually recall it burning out...we lived in Clifford St..our house was bulldozed and now sits squarely underneath the distributor...I go back there to visit but its all unrecognisable now and a little depressing.
I think Towradgi Rd still has the original railway bridge on it..further north I'm not sure..Bulli end of the distributor has all changed so much.
