I still doubt you will be slower than me and it would be great to meet you, so since your only condition to going is due to being slow then i guess we will see you there? (plz)

Detlef, if you do come along, bring the dvd for the bike if possible, and i will bring money, also would be nice to finally catch up with you too.

Cruizy is nice Unc Gra, but i do want to say that if it's rainy etc i probably won't go due to the little talk we had ... the confidence thingy.

Cheers all
Eso

If you don't come we'll find you, how many motorbikes can there be in Stanley besides I've still got knobby tyres on mine so it'll be real slow if it rains .

I'll bring the DVD for you no problem. providing I don't forget.

So Unc , where we going & meeting? Pub lunch?

Am I the only Wagga rider?

Where is the Albury meeting point?

Soooo many bloody questions, I know just ride till I find you all

Gday....we have me here....Tom at Stanley and Tezza at Bright....how about Troy Detlef and AlbScott and any others meet at Albury somewhere....I'll ride to Yackandandia village and meet Albury riders there if you come via Bandiana and Staghorn Flat...or...on Beechworth Rd at the Yack turn off if you go Wodonga Beechworth Rd....choice is yours.
We all go to Beechworth and meet Tom there...then we could go to Gapsted to Myrtleford to Bright ....pick up Tezza....then over Tawonga Bright Gap to Mt Beauty to Falls Ck to Bogong High Plains to Blue Duck to Omeo to Mt Hothman to Bright....dump Tezza....to Myrtleford ...get rid off Tom at the back Stanley turn off....to Mudgegonga....turn right Tunnel Gap Rd for me and home...Albury riders can follow me or go straight ahead thru Yack to Wodonga.

I think that covers the main attractions ??

Start time.......Detlef has the furthest to come so maybe he has the best idea of what time to be at Albury.....and we can work from that.

I havent done this ride as a loop so not sure of distance and time req.

I reckon we'd have a coffee at Bright and meet Tezza
I want to whip up to Cafe Max at Falls Ck for 5 minutes
Have a lemonade at Blueduck
Have a feed at Omeo
Have a look at Dinner Plain resort
Harrietville

Thoughts...critiscisms...ideas...

Unc

Sounds like a good start. But I agree, start time depends on what time Detlef thinks he will get to Albury and maybe he could suggest a suitable place for the Albury Guys to meet

ALbury riders -what about the BP servo on Wodonga Place? Allows Detlef to top up and others to start with a full tank. Detlef to set the time.

Pirate is in!!

Hey all,
So,after a bit of subtle nagging, got the "I reckon you should just go" this arvo
I make it a point not to read into things too much, which to me means 'I should just go' .

To all I haven't met, Hi, I am in Albury. On a 650 Dakar with almost buggered Metzellers, so a road ride might just be the nail in the coffin to invest in something more aggressive in the next few months.......

So, unless there is a massive rainstorm or something unlikely like that in the near future............. ........... I am a starter from Albury.
Time & location flexible, but suggesting the caltex in Wodonga near the Bandiana ring Rd/Osbourne Rd (Just west of Wodonga Bunnings) - Easy for all to get to/find.

Cheers, 'Pirate' Pete.

This is sounding good.

Now time, well I need about 1.5 hrs to get to Wodonga and happy to get up early for a ride, (it's not work is it ) allthough those skippy things could be an issue, just need to go faster to miss them then .

Seriously, if I leave about Sunrise ~7am and get to Wodonga ~8:30am is that ok.

Unc Gra do I need to be earlier, more time needed?

Looking farward to this ride

I agree. This would be be an easier place to meet. Detlef could just follow the freeway bypass and get off at the Bandiana link road instead of having to ride through town. Then we can cut across through White box rise and out the Beechworth road to meet Tom at Beechworth.

SO what do you think? CALTEX near Bunnings Wodonga at 8.30 Sun Morning?
