I've started an email list of 'Adventure Riders' in the Riverina, that has about 17 names on it, so far. Nothing formalised, just a list of names that come from here, there and wherever. Send a email to everyone & see who salutes the flag, sort of thing. The blokes range from Kergunya (Hi Gra' you old 'tard) to Griffith, Young and Rosewood. Anything from day rides on 'Rostered Days Offroad' to well, whatever you want. It's kicked off with a few extra names since the Cancer Council ride (jeez that was a good day ride!)Some of us are getting together, wives, kidlets etc at Toc on 27/28 June - staying at Tocumwal Tourist Park. Bring the bikes, the 4wd or just a camp chair, whatever. See who will be the last one to bed Sunday morning. www.tocpark.com.au (03) 5874 2768 Send me a PM with your email & I'll add you in. Lots of DRs in Albury/Woodonga. Steve Whitehouse must be smiling.

Hi there trokel, finally getting around to replying to this thread.
I guess i should introduce myself a little, I live in Stanley and work in Albury which makes it a nice (if a little long) ride in everyday. My place of work... well you guys by the sounds of it probably shop there a fair bit !!!! It's big, painted green and has an Irishmans name on it!! The only other thing i will say about it is that it's retail, so my hours won't always let me go to a few of the rides. I'm also married so the fun police will occasionally not let me go either heh heh, nah she's usually pretty good about it .. ( i had to type that bit cause she was just here ). My ride: atm it is a 2001 bmw f650gs (yeah i know about the front struts and the wheel falling of heh heh) its yellow and has a certain err letter on the back of it ... finally a legal rider . I did however used to ride an older klr250 and a 86 vfr750f a long time ago, plus more recently, my father in laws "thumper" as he calls it which was a 85ish xr500.I moved to VIC only recently (2 years is recent right? lol) and cause i live where i do i've not bothered getting out too much, so catching up and putting faces to names etc seems like a great idea for me (besides i can always use with tips on riding and how to plan for a ride with more than a couple of riders). This tourist park, does it have places to stay? I don't have a swag or anything so would maybe have to sleep in the landcruiser but wife won't like that idea ...too cold... heh heh. I will send you a PM with my email address trokel and hopefullly hear from the rest of you all soon. Eso

Hi Eso Teric and everybody else, here is the link to the tourist park website. It will give info on accomodation types and costs. I will be down there for Friday and Saturday night and will probably trailer my bike down there so I can go for a ride if I feel like it.

hi there trokel,
I admit to feeling a little foolish because SCray already had the link up! The wife and i would like to go and as long as we can get a cabin thingy due to us wanting to take the dog and due to no one being able to look after her that weekend then we will be there for friday and saturday night. Failing getting the cabin thing we will still go but it would be just the one night, probably the saturday, or would friday be better (as in numbers)? So all going well thats two, will post again tomorrow with the verdict. Eso

Well it's confirmed
We have a cabin thingy and will be there Friday and Saturday night. I'm hoping to leave work in Albury at 3pm, failing that it will be 4pm, wife will meet me at work and all being well we will arrive at 1730 ish with bike and 4WD. I have to admit though, like Albury scott said, i hope we won't be there alone heh heh, although trokel said he will be there so either way it should still be fun.Eso

Not sure if I will get off work on time so we might only get there about 6.30. I don't know if anyone else is going to be there friday night but we will see you there.

I'll not be getting to Toc until Saturday. My son has decided to stay in Bathurst an extra day so I've got to take the dogs to the kennel for the night.
Wont be at Toc until 11am-12md but that's okay.
