All those Big Dogs and other production "choppers" ridden by dentists and accountants in shiny leather chaps have nothing to do with the core of chopper building, the average greasy dude in his garage. That guy is still out there, still building cool shit, still riding in his 70's vintage metalflake helmet, greasy jeans and black t-shirt.

All those sub 1000 mile big motor, big tire bikes will make great fodder for real homebuilt choppers when they all get unloaded in the bankruptcy or divorce in the next few years, so it's not like the things will never get used, either.

Big tires are soooo out of style, you want a nice skinny whitewall on the back of your bob-job to be cool now.
