Hey I do have a little bit of an update. I have been staring at all my polished bits laying about and wondering about how to keep them looking that way.

So I got on the intronet and googled aluminum anodizing and found a place down the road and emailed them.

Well they directed me to another place down the road who directed me to another place down the road.

And finially I got an answer. Aparently I cant anodize Cast Aluminum. I didnt know this. At least I cant clear anodize it. One of the guys I talked to said it will do all kinds of strange things if they try to anodize it.

They said clear coat or chrome is about the only answer.

Im still waiting to hear from another place to see if what they say is the same is the other guy that said he cant do it.

Im right there with ya. No chrome for me.

Its looking clear or become a slave to my aluminum....lol

Unless my other aluminum guy (that hasnt answered back yet) can clear these. Well see.

The guy I was talking about was asking how hot these parts get. The valve cover I can imagine gets quite hot. The others not so much that I cant touch them. I wonder if he was asking because clear coat and heat dont work to well together.

man I hate learning new things...makes my head hurt
