No problem. I just realized I did not include where the photos were from. It is not my bike of course but I took those photos at a recent Vintage Flat Track Race, swap meet, and bike show here in Middle Tennessee. There were not many bikes but there were a few real gems the BSA being one of them.

![]() Be patient a little longer. The boys YZ125 is almost back together and off the bench, tranny rebuild and new clutch. Xmas is almost paid for. Truck is back on its wheels after dumping $1100 into it. Vacation starts next week and I have nothing better to do, so I should have some updates very soon. |

Ya know, the sooner the bike is done, the sooner the new girlfriend can do this.

Nice. Love the Kenda ice tire they were running for a front tire. Or maybe its a Carlile. Either way. It makes a great ice tire. Looks like a fun project.

Ive been working on a few things this week. Or starting on them anyways.
1. ordered some fully threaded grade 8 bolts for my chain adjusters. 2. ordered some delrin for a chain guard for the frame and oil tank. more on that later. 3. ordered up some coil brackets from a dune buggy shop. They should look killer if they work as planned. on a side note I couldnt believe how fast Mcmaster Carr delivers. I ordered yesterday around 5 and its here already. Thats less than 1 day turn around. Amazing. Today I did a little running around trying to find some hardware. Stainless bolts, oil tank drain plug, headlight bolts. I found all but the headlight bolts. Anyone know what bolts fit a repro Emgo headlight shell? it aint metric or sae so its gotta be whitworth. I dont have many whitworth bolts around here so I guess a trip to my BSA guy is in order. I have been working on making an aluminum panel to mount my coils and ignition modules on. Its going to mount between the frame rails in front of the oil tank. I have it sanded to fit. Just need to drill some holes and get some mounting tabs welded on. Should look pretty cool once its polished up. cardboard mockup ![]() ![]() and the aluminum panel in place. ![]() I have some metal tabs that will be welded to the frame and the plate will mount to those. Off to my welders, tonight maybe. Well see. Once I figure out where the electronics will mount I might dress that panel up with some "speed holes" well see. |
