That's about the ugliest GB500 I've ever seen. Repaint sucks, seat is hideous, not the stock front fender.

Well, the exact bike that I have been looking for has popped up right in my area, unfortunately, about a month too early. I have been scheming to sell my R100/7 to get a monoshock R65 and this one is in Madison, WI. The price looks right too.
Reply to: sale-1029291314@craigslist.org [?] Date: 2009-02-10, 2:34PM CST This is a 1986 model R65 with low miles and very equipped with new side cases, top travel bag, tank bag, clear fairing, custom Corbin seat, cruise control. Nice for touring and commuting!
If anyone wants to snag this thing, it looks like a good buy. Now, if anyone wants to ride it for about 2 months and then sell it for a modest profit...... (no, really.....do it.)Edit: Hes asking $2900, I thought it was in the ad text, but I reread and didnt see it.

If my garage weren't full I'd be all over this one:

Go Nuts, try Crazed List!
I love perusing the ads on Craigs: good memories, yucks, spelling atrocities, plenty of sighs (will I EVER get a Ducati or just dream about them?)...but when things get serious, I hit up www.crazedlist.org
which allows searching the whole country (or just parts). Great way to find out what things are "going for" or answer the question, "just how far would I go for that bike I can't live without?"

Some really nasty scoots on here, fo sho. That Duccutti is prime
Only problem with this thread is that for us peeps with too much time on our hands who want to go back historically, all the CL listings get deleted. |

Yamaha IT 490 on Craigslist
One of the nicer CL finds I've come across recently. Always wanted one just for the looks. Not the most practical of bikes maybe, but wow what a ride...got a note from the seller they are down to $1500
