macuser - did you guys check out the passes to the west of the trunk road? Just curious if there was much snow left on any of them.

Had a great ride to Waiparous on Sunday. A few muddy spots but most of the trail was dry

I posted some more pics here:

Great ride

Great ride everyone! Especially enjoyed watching Rellik work his way up that steep trail and come back down. Also enjoyed how well Macuser could toss his KTM640 around.

good route, good company.

Thats the second photo I've seem of me stuck in the bogs.... Why are you guys picking on me???

Seriously though, my first time ever in a bog was a great time and a shit wack of work. By the end of it I was getting it figured out. Just ride over the trees and wheely across the small stuff.

How was the rest of the ride?

Excellent ride but hard work... my arms are killing me from trying to keep up to the faster guys. Chucker took us on a 3 hr tour of some really nice (and dry) trails, with a few decent hills and some tighter single track.

We did try Racehorse Creek Pass, Rellik and Macuser went up a steep, rutted, wet, greasy part the rest of us dared not try. Apparently there was snow up there so they came back down.

It was a big iron tour with 640 - 990 sized bikes. Lots of high speed gravel, some dry quad trails, and the necessary pavement to get to and fro.

Fantastic day of riding, 10 hrs rtn from Bragg Creek.

All except bigadv who suffered from the delusion he was on a quad. I still can't believe he rode through that mud hole!

Here's proof that you weren't the only one with issues... that's me and Steve practising our synchronized hill climb manouvers :)

And some others with mud challenges:

I have done it before either by email or selecting the phone from photobucket. I really want to see the creek wheelie you pulled!

still two sizes too big for my boot!

The toenail was the result of a wholly unrelated mishap with a big rock!

Holy shit, that's a big picture! Hey macuser, I just found out how to post pics from your phone. Just email them to your Photobucket account and direct link!

Amazing you still were able to tackle that mountain and not spill it on the way down! Love to see you ride with 2 good feet!
