Quiet Ride Helmet ear noise reduction muff technology versus ear plugs

Quiet Ride Helmet ear noise reduction muff technology versus ear plugs
(U.S. patent #8,429,766 Ear noise reduction muff in helmet technology)

Evaluation - Ear plugs forced into ear canal

The big plus factor for wearing ear plugs is you will save your hear for a life time and still be able to ride your motorcycle for as many hours per day as you want. No excessive wind noise or engine noise damaging your hearing. Wearing ear plugs protects your hearing from permanent hearing damage. OSHA says so and also your ears say so.
If you ride for long hours at highway speeds without ear protection when you get off your bike and go into a quiet room your ears are ringing. This is your ears and body telling you please don't expose me to loud noises for extended periods of time!!! If you keep doing that I am not going to hear as well for you as time goes by!!
Ear plugs and helmet speakers. Not an option, either protect your hearing by inserting ear plugs or risk damaging your hearing by listening to helmet speaker volume set at 90 to 100 decibels competing with noisy helmet at highway speeds.

Evaluation- Quiet Ride Helmets feature Ear noise reduction muffs (helmet noise reduction ratings NRR 17 and NRR 19 protects your hearing)

First big plus for ear noise reduction muffs. It is comfortable to feel soft foam memory foam pad around ears sealing out noise versus ear plug forced into ear canal. Ear muffs are very comfortable to wear for many hours
Second big plus. Helmet speakers or other high quality speakers work great when installed in ear noise reduction muffs. Interference from exterior noises has been reduced by over 65% inside muff. Voice communication is crisp and clear. Music can be enjoyed at lower volume (decibels) without outside noise interference.
Third big plus. Intercom with Bluetooth attached to helmet works great!! You can communicate with other riders, pair to phone for GPS directions, send and receiving phone calls and listen to music. These features are not possible wearing ear plugs.

What does this new technology mean for you!!! All the Bluetooth features you enjoy in your car or truck can now be enjoyed by you while riding your motorbike and still protect your hearing.
