Just an FYI, my local Walmart has the Heet on sale for 4 bottles for $4. Don't know if it's a nationwide thing or not, but I thought it was a killer price!

I'll take 2. Tired of the weight and bulk of the MSR.

Got a question..

Can you blow this out when you are done cooking, and can you return any unused fuel back to the fuel container (after cooling, of course)?

I would say no. I haven't made large efforts to do so, but it doesn't want to go out. Best to just let it burn out, and once you have a little experience using it, you will be able to judge the amount of HEET to put in it in accordance to your needed cooking time. And when the HEET does burn out, your stove still looks like new with no discoloring and no odors.

Don't try to blow it out, I did and it took a lot of breath and also splattered the fuel on the area holding up the stove.
I found a way to put it out, place the pot/pan over it upside down. Just be sure to wait about a min. My pot isn't completly smooth edged so little bits of air keep it going.
I wouldn't reuse the fuel, there's not much and not worth the hassle.

Great product, thanks again. It's seen many meals

Payment sent for 2 original style stoves. If I could make a suggestion, I would edit your first post about the simmer style stoves. It took me a lot of searching through this thread to find out exactly what people were talking about when ordering a "simmer style". Thanks
