Just placed an order through PayPal. One regular and one simmer stove. Hopefully the price is still $9.00 each shipped, cause that's what I sent. Looking forward to using these little puppies on my trip to Jasper and Banff next month.

Gotcha covered Smithee, I'll be making them up first of the week when my bottle supply is replenished.

Thomas TC, yours are rolling now, you should see them in a couple days.

Thanks guys!

Any chance I can get one of these shipped to 49464 before the 26th? Is it still $9 like the OP states?

Should be okay. I am out of aluminum bottles right now and was supposed to have some more today, but they didn't come in. Looks like next Monday night I'll be making a new batch of stoves, and could ship on Tuesday the 19th. Still 9 bucks I feel like a starving artist.

The bottle is just like a regular glass beer bottle but in aluminum. They would hold the alcohol, but it uses a regular cap not a twist-off that can be replaced, so I really don't think it would work. The HEET we use is merely methyl alcohol. Denatured alcohol will work too, although it must be very pure to avoid sooting up your stove and pots. If you can find any regular methyl alcohol, your stove will always look brand new it burns so clean.

Price of a stove to Oz, figure 11 bucks delivered.

You have PP. I would like two thank you very much. And to think I was going to spend over $100 for one of them fancy stoves.

I love the concept, KISS baby.

just bought both a simmering and 'full-on' stove from steve...looking forward to trying them out

now just have to find some light but strong cooking equipment for 1-2 people
the stuff from GSI looks pretty rugged; supposedly as light as ti but more robust
(i'm using it for lightweight backpacking, kayaking, bicycle touring mostly).

Thumb Another order

Just sent PP for a regular and a simmer one. I have made some of the pepsi can ones, but these look too cool to pass up.
