price hike?

I was just on the web site and noticed the vented suit is 499 and the mesh suit is $499. Sounds like there's been a little supply and demand going on. Or did I miss something. Seems like earlier today the price for both (either) suits was $289. Could it be that ADV riders still get the $289 price for the vented suit? Won't/can't buy it for $499. Might be willing to face the wrath of my sales manager for $289. For $289, I don't mind supplying my own velcro covering.

It looks like it's $499 for both suits now... as in, you get them both for $499. Wow.

I'm really enjoying the discourse and am very much looking forward to the upcoming reviews from the ADVers and the moto-press. Mad props to the manufacturer for engaging potential customers in this forum.

Also, since I'm the OP, aren't I entitled to some sort of finder's fee for bringing news of this wonderful new product to the masses?

Nice. I was thinking I should have taken a screen shot. It was the main thread found on page one, post one. There was a red 499 where the picture of the two suits together is now. I'm guessing I caught them mid-update....thought the new 2 suit picture has a blue link next to it. Glad it is sill a possibility. 2 for $500. That is nice.

Nedster, buy one of thse thing and ride thr 299 to the coast and take pictures out on the jetty.

2 suit combo for $499 - lotsa updates

Hello folks,

There are a lot of updates this time:

How to score a great deal
The most important news – the amazing new combo deal. Buy both suits for a low price of $499. Yes, a mesh riding suit AND a vented riding suit, for $499. Plus we will discount the shipping as well. You will be hard pressed unable to find a deal even close to this. To avail this offer you must place an order before March 31st. Riders that have already placed orders and want to upgrade to this option, please email us and we will give you directions on how to do so. Here is the link if you want to place an order:
http://teizms.com/vent-plus-mesh.html

See the suit in person
If you want to check out the suit in person, try these stores:
Zak’s Garage – 8857 South 700 East, Sandy, UT, 84070 (they have already received a vented suit)
SF Moto - 275 8th St, San Francisco, CA, 94103 (will be receiving both versions next week)

See a video of the suit
MotoSportsBusiness.com recently posted a video of the suit shot at the Dealer Expo. Check it out:

Some website related updates:
The ghost image appearing in some browsers has been taken care of.

The charts/comparisons page has been updated. You do not need to download pdf files anymore, as the charts appear as images.
http://teizms.com/comparisons-charts

The size chart has been updated and includes comments on how to use the chart. It has its own dedicated page now.

The color swatches are also available for you to check out:
http://teizms.com/product-features

Our warranty and return policy is also on the website:

Answers to your questions:
There are is a lot of concern about how waterproof the suit is. So we decided to make a page dedicated to explaining that. We will keep adding content as necessary (based on the questions you ask):
http://teizms.com/waterproof

Folks are also asking a lot about tall sizes. Please post on this thread so that we keep your info in mind when we revise our sizes. We want to make products that you folks demand and if that means making tall sizes than that’s how it will be. Just keep us informed on what you want.

About the love-it/hate-it knee sliders issue. Please do remember that the knee sliders are attached via velcro and can be removed. We will be introducing knee slider patch covers later this year. You will be able to take off the knee sliders and put on these patch covers instead so that the velcro patch is not visible. Please keep in mind that this suit is not just for touring but also for street riding and sport-touring so some people demand knee sliders. Look at it this way, “other companies” charge you $50 ( yes FIFTY!!!) to sow in knee slider patches and an additional $47 for the knee sliders. Plus, for what it’s worth, I think they look pretty cool J .

Lastly, yes the 2-piece version is being worked on. We do not have a release date yet.

We are receiving a lot of queries and are trying our best to keep up with them. Usually we respond to most questions in less than 48 hrs. However, if we have not got back to you in 48 hrs, feel free to send us a reminder and we will make sure all your concerns are addressed.

Appreciation
Before signing off, I want to thank all the riders out there who have showed us their support on forums, email lists and directly to us over the phone and email. We really appreciate all your comments. Your feedback is extremely important. Keep it coming…. and happy pre-ordering ….

Thank you for your time

Ghazi;
I assume that is you in the video? You did a good job there. Better yet is your continued patience with this group and our probing and sometimes pointed questions. If you can survive this audience without imploding, you have done something significant. The product looks very good and at a price point that makes it outstanding.
I notice that some of the suits have different detailing. Some of the light gray ones have a black strip down the front. Do we have options of customizing like this? I would rather have a light color on the shoulders to keep the heat down as an example. A tall order to customize a $289 suit, but I figured I'd ask.

Depending on construction, you could just take a seam ripper to the velcro patches and remove them entirely.

Ghazi, and info on what's under them? Would removal work?

Already posted in the thread on your site, but TALL SIZES TALL SIZES TALL SIZES! ;)

I'm pretty sure you are seeing a mesh suit and a vented suit. I think one has the black down the front and the other doesn't.

I appreciate you adding the swatches but honestly, that isn't helping me to much. I want to see the entire suit in each color.
