Watching this closely...

When, roughly, are you expecting these to be released?

Ventilation similar to Lombard?

Also, have you thought about doing vent panels that fold back as seen on more and more gear rather than just a zippered slit?

The suits are pretty much ready to go.
The only reason we havnt taken an order yet is due to some color changes. the light gray might be replaced with a darker shade. We should be taking orders within the next few weeks.

the knee and chest vents are fold back panels, not zippers

Regarding the Power shell:
If you had to choose one, which would you opt for:

a) Access pockets on each side
OR
b) Sas-Tec hip armor

can't you have hip armor forward and behind the access pocket?
best of both worlds

I'm thinking hip armor personally. If the power shell works out as well as I'm hoping my procrastination may pay off. I may give you a call on the power shell vs the V4 unless you can give us a comparison here.

My vote would be access pockets....if you go with hip armor please put at least a slit in for running a wire through.

Pockets....or make the hip armor removable. if they weren't I'd cut them out.

I've never had anything with hip armor so I can't give a personal experience but I would be interested to hear why others dont like / want it.

I'm all for having some kind of pass through for wires or such.

some people find it uncomfortable when sitting on the bike.. its a personal preference thing.

Not sure about access pockets but we definitely need cable pass-throughs regardless..

V4 and Power Shell are totally different.

The two main difference are that:
  1. It is sold as the main protective shell and you can choose your own layers. For example wear Frogg Toggs over the suit or our waterproof liner underneath.
  2. Upgraded Materials - Cordura, Sas-Tec & SuperFabric

The Power Shell is our most protective and versatile one-piece suit!

We have significantly upgraded every aspect of the suit. From the base shell materials to the ballistics, everything is top of the line. The Sas-Tec armor is amazing (comfortable yet protective) and we also include a Sas-Tec Level 2 back protector. Please note that this same back protector is an "optional extra" for every other jacket/suit (ranging from $45-$100 depending on who you ask). The only other garment that has this protector as a standard item was the $1299 Rev'it Infinity suit. I think Revzilla has a few videos highlighting the Sas-Tec armor.

Not only have we switched to Cordura for this suit, we have also added SuperFabric ballistics. WebBikeWorld has covered SuperFabric in detail during their review of other jackets using this material.

The reason why i am personally not boasting merits of all these materials is because i want you guys to do your own research as well. Look into these details and you will realize that this is finally the one garment that is versatile enough to do everything, on any bike & in any weather.

For those whose budget falls little short of the Power Shell, we offer superb value in the V4. This suit has proven itself over the last years in every possible situation! In its fourth iteration, we have made it yet more versatile by offering 2 removable liners and (hence) improving the waterproofing! For $399 nothing comes close!

V4 looks are unchanged except for:

a) the grip seat has a new design similar to the new mojave, commute and power shell suits.
b) cuff design has also been changed to resemble those of the new suits

And so far, I think those are the only thing I would change on my V3. You're doing good, constantly improving. :)

LV4 and PS ?s

Hey Ghazi,

I have some questions if you don't mind.

1. How does the venting of the Power Shell compare to the venting of the Lombard V3/4? Pretty similar as the vents are similar?

2. Will the large Teiz logo be included on the final version of the Power Shell. It's kind of flashy for my tastes. Doesn't really fit the suit/brand.

3. Are there color options for the Power Shell besides what's shown?

4. What's the wait time for a standard-sized Power Shell or Lombard v4? Are they going to be in stock soon or is it the usual 6-8 weeks but maybe faster?

I was pretty well set on a Lombard but then you threw this Power Shell curve ball. I like the extra features for the price.

Thanks!
