Haha, oh no, the day after I place my order there is a new color scheme. Did I miss the boat for the April shipment?

No, I'm fine with the light/dark, I was just joking. I assume that color combo costs more and I'm frugal(cheap) with frills haha.

Wow, love the HiViz Mojave. Are these meant to be worn over shorts and a shirt or alone? How many pockets does it have? Why don't you stock 3XLs and 4XLs, we Americans are pretty large, ? That said I think I'll order one when I get off work later.

They're meant to be worn over your normal clothes.

as pjm said, they go over regular street clothing. It just has one main front pocket on the chest. This is to maximize airflow.
we usually dont stock anything - but brining in some regularly ordered sizes for this season. 3xl/4xl are not very commonly ordered :) looking forward to your order.

Which Version?

When looking at used suits, is there an easy way to tell which version it is?

Anyone have experience with the Mojave in trail riding type situations? So much gear, so little money thus I'm looking for the most versatile suit I can get, for both dual-sporting and sport biking use.

I live in Phoenix Arizona and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with using their suits in warm weather and if it's doable to use them through the summer months commuting?

I had the same concern as I tend to overheat. (though I seem to have gotten a bit more tolerent of heat with age).

One day we started a ride down the coast, it was foggy and cool... 59-60... decided to go to the valley to get some sun. We saw 110F over there. As long as you can keep moving it's tolerable, not comfortable, but tolerable. Then one of the guys I was with lost his iPhone and we're parked on the side of the road, in the sun at 110F. That was not comfortable at all.

Summary as I feel it.

up to 75F - comfortable
75-85 - warm, keep the stops short
85-95 - ok at speed, stopping you start to cook slowly
95+ - very warm, no longer comfortable. Stopping kinda sucks. Drink lots of water and plan on washing the suit cuz it's going to be wet from the inside out.

All that said, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be at those temps. I still like my Lombard 3. Lombard 4 might breathe better with the rain liner removed.

What suit were you wearing on that trip? I really like the Lombard with all the pockets and with all the vents I thought it might be okay for summer commuting in the mornings and evenings. However, the Mohave sounds like it is mesh which usually breaths well but still has the capability to provide at least decent protection from the elements on a longer trip despite the lack of pockets. Any thoughts on this?
