My 4x4 van? I don't have it anymore.

Things are moving along.

Didn't you buy a class C? I could have sworn that was you posting.

I remember finding it online sitting in class in law school thinking you had life completely fucking dialed in and there I was sitting on some shitty wooden chair listening to some pompous asshole drone on about riparian rights in 1884 or some such shit
It was cool, I dumped $15k into making it cool.

My, how wrong you were.

The perfect rig for the nomadic man. Compared to your 4X4 it must be like living in a three bedroom house space wise.

What you have there is what I am working toward right now. I might start off with a van for now. Whatever presents itself I guess. I'll get a small bike for a carrier like that. You have a nice setup there Jay. Good luck to you always.

I drove a Toyota Hiace van in Mexico a few years back. It was a passenger van, had lots of room and with a pop top would make a nice hauler.
Diesel powered and got decent mileage.

No kidding.

Are there any "sit in front of the front axle" type vans sold here anymore? Maybe safety regs?

That would make a sweet rig.

Won't sell it "here" because of the diesel.
Toyota quit making the cabover for us a long time ago. Remember the Previa?
Maybe if the eco-mental folks can get their heads adjusted, we'll see moresmall diesels here.

Similar to the Sprinter, the Fiat Ducato is another nice one we can't have.
