actually....this is one of my little pet peves...

I drive a Union City Stepvan, powered by a Chevy 350...

it, however, is NOT a CHEVY STEPVAN......it is only powered by a Chevy engine.
so why does it say Chevrolet across the grill???

It doesn't say Caterpillar on the front of a Peterbilt, even though it very well may be powered by one! (or a Cummins, or a Detroit)

the whole chassis is made by GM, they contracted out the body but sold them through chevy dealers, if it was sold by someone else it would probably say Grumman on the front

We’ve said it before, but it bears repeating; the GS handles in ways a two-story building was never meant to.

Taking collections for Faye Butler Training please spare some change.

Remember red and yellow make orange.so to think orange is better means you have to use two steps to get there.

My van should say International on the grill, I guess.

maybe this is the reason for so many mercedes badge kits being sold to dodge sprinter owners?

This one was posted on Vannin.com at one point. It's a vinyl wrap, and not paint. Still looks pretty good, though.

We did a 140 mile ride today, and only burned a 1/2 a quart of oil.

That will keep you from going too far. When are you installing the new motor ?

Is that gas or diesel?

Had 2 of those, one with a 1.6 TD, one with the 1.7 D. The one with 1.7 was the best van I ever owned. The only issue I had was seeing the diesel gauge going empty during a trip (normally the needle was pretty much stationary ) . The fuel line rubbed in one place and was leaking, good thing it was diesel.
Thanks for the pic, toying with the idea of importing one at the moment, just didn't find the right one, yet Or buying a Sprinter, which I don't really fancy.

Engine ships in two weeks. I need to start ordering various little gaskets, clutch, and other tid-bits that need to bolt on.

Question Opinions on $$ ?

Going to look at a van later today & not really sure what these things are worth. It is a '93 E-250 cargo van with 209,000 on the clock, V-8 (302?), auto, new Michelin 10 ply tires & Interstate battery. From the pics it appears to be straight as far as bodywork at least. Bottom dollar is $1800....decent?
