Speaking of 7.3 psd Afreind of mine is thinking of selling his. only 210k on the clock..
set up for hauling bikes. He was just at the Barstow to reno on his hp2 .. was ordered with a 3.08 and locker in the rear end..

I get 20mpg average, with sometimes lows of 17 and highs of 23. About 12mpg pulling a 23 ft. travel trailer in the mountains, with two bikes in the van.

IDK about the vans, but my pickup with 4.10 gears in the rear got 14-17 around town and low 20s on road trips if I kept it below 67mph.
10-14 towing the ex-'s Camaro with my GS-Adv in the bed. M
