I was REALLY hoping that Ford would bring a diesel here in this van but it looks like they are stuck on the ecoboost v-6. Thats really a shame in my opinion because Mercedes has pretty much knocked it out of the park with the Sprinters and to not even compete with them seems like a really big mistake. Oh well.....at least now I know that instead of holding out for the new transit I can go ahead and jump on a nice used Sprinter when I find the one I want.
I just got 27.14mpg on my last tankful of 2003 Sprintervan bliss.

The older ones get better MPG than the newer ones! And you don't need the special pissfluid either. Yay oldsprinters!

It is a climb to get up there. We had to get the ladder extension to make it work.
Love it! Looking even more Eeeevil!

Hope you don't get a nose bleed at that altitude.

Same exact overall design. Just with minor improvements.

I love these tents. Lightweight & sets up in a few minuets. However camping in CO high elevation can get cold.
I wan't to build one of these adventure trailers. I may be asking you a bunch of questions when I see you gain.

Just went through the first tank, 352 miles, on my new to me van (2003 7.3PSD), and got 13.1. Now this was only stop and go city driving. Curious what's like on the open road, given the raised roof- with my previous one I was getting close to 23mpg if kept at or slightly below the speed limit.

That looks very nice! How did you do the wall panels and attach it to the van itself?
