You gotta admit a 'fly and drive' for that rig would be cool. Even cooler might be a 'fly and also pick up a small dual sport out there while I'm at it'.
I hear Death Valley is nice this time of year. Yer welcome. ![]() PS - Guessing no rust.

![]() This Dodge looks to be in really good shape and has "modern" 318 power. Don't know what it is worth but this price does not seem crazy. Listed for $6,900 on CL today. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/da...543963866.html |

Only if you pick the right weekend and the last one wasn't it. At least it didn't rain.

Meandering through Youtube trying to find some Dakar footage that ASO hadn't taken down yet, and I came across a film featuring this bit of inspired lunacy.
Action shots are in here somewhere ...

What are the thoughts on an 11,000 lb RV on a 3500 Sprinter chassis... in the snow? Chains good enough? Studded tires better? Neither, just stay at home?

Studded ice radials and chains only if needed ie: 4' of snow going up or down a mountain. A good ice tire even without studs is vastly better than an all-season!

Yeah it's a dully. 2012 model. So if I go studded winter tire, the next dumbass question would be front and back? And do I have to go with both on the dullies? Proly a stupid question, but I don't know jack about dullies... 6 new tires may determine my "need" to use it in the winter.
