I've been looking for an Econoline 4x4 diesel for a long time, and they are rarer as shit around here. I wouldn't order a new one given the engine choices now, and I can't afford the insane money people seem to want for a used Sportsmobile... $90K? I guess I'll keep looking.
I am leaning towards a Sprinter, but while I love the inside height and space, just not as rugged. I guess it would be nicer for paved travel though, but I don't see it splashing through the water in Death Valley like above. |

The logo was on it when I bought it. Needs paint and some rainbow and puppies stickers. I was hoping to have the inside done for this years dirt bike camping fun...

Be on the lookout for me and Comet in the WA/OR area in July as we trip around in this.
Mine still hasn't gotten me no babes tho. Maybe cause it's a MINIvan and lacks the cachet of the older ones?!? Look, I got the light alloy wheels, cool stickers, etc... Come on, do I STILL really look like a "soccer mom?!?!" ![]() ![]() At least I get to sleep with my hot blooded Italian mistress each night on the road. Mad Moto Marko

That's where I rode, too. Unless I was "driving" . My Mom snapped this of me "driving" the 73 Tradesman on I-70 somewhere in Kansas... ![]() In the Tradesman, we had a big brown victorian style chair with wooden arms that they'd just sit between the front buckets. Seat Belts? Car seats?

My current and favorite vehicle so far:
2001 Econoline 150 ![]() These photos were taken at the Six Days of Michigan ![]() It made the long slog across the plains states to and from Wyoming much more bearable also. Four guys and all their gear and bikes fit comfortably, captains chairs all around. ![]() Three bikes on the trailer: ![]() And my DRZ in the back: ![]() I would love to have one in 4wd.

Cool stuff everyone.
Heyduke, do you have those original "naked dodge" file links you can pass on?
