I do that same thing. I have to wait for a long time before I want to go back and play a game again. But after that wait, it's fun all over. I've started hording games since I got the PS 3.

I've still got my PS2 with a ton of PS2 & PS1 games and my N64 with some games.

Not gonna let those go.

I've got 1 and 2. Good for multi player at the house. I'm on my 2nd time thru #2.

GRAW2: Good, but I smoked thru it twice in a day. The Xbox version was better.

Having downsized considerably, and realized that I have no interest in owning a PS3 and playing 14 year old twitch monkeys online, I bought a DS Lite. There is enough casual gaming on there to last me a very long time, and I can take it with me....very valuable right now. Some very innovative games on there when you combine the touch sensitive screen along with the second screen. Look at a title like "Trauma Center: Under The Knife" for different. Yes, I'm aware you can also get it for the Wii, but I can't imagine how you'd play it with a Wii controller. Seems like it's made for a stylus.

You'd be surprised how dexterous a Wii remote can be.

Especially with the new doohickeys that plug into the back of 'em.

Well, if it was a PC exclusive, GRAW II would have been an addon pack and not a stand alone game. It's more of the same really. Buy GRAW since it's probably cheaper then get GRAW II as it drops in price. Or has it already?

There are a lot of games that aren't ONLINE only. MGS4 is really good. (actually, I'm playing it a second time for the 'no-kill' award) My GF likes to play LittleBigPlanet which looks fun as well. Ratchet & Clank looks great too. I think I want to get Infamous though. It's a PS3 exclusive. The new Batman game looks pretty good as well. Dirt 2 plays really nice as done Motorstorm. Still waiting for Gran Turismo 5 though. GF has Rock Band Beatles coming as well.

Actually, I found MGS4 so much fn, I'm playing it again for 'No-Kills'.

I use my PS3 to stream media off my network drive as well as watch BD movies.

Oh and I do also own a Wii, PS2, PSX, GBA, GB DS...

The new Wii MotionPlus is supposed to make it more accurate.

I've tried Rainbow 6 Vegas. What am I doing wrong? I start playing the first "mission", and then realize that it's very difficult fr me to see the enemy.

Are the graphics bad, do I need to turn up the contrast- what?

What console? I played it on a PC so I had no problems with it. Although if you're playing it on an analog TV then it's probably hard to see the detail at a distance. Then again the enemies spawn in no more then 100 yrds away.

There's a section shortly into it where I've rappelled down a building, and am going through a back alley- when suddenly, I'm lit up. I mean full on, getting blasted- and I can't really seem to see who.

Maybe I just don't like that much realism in my vids. LOL

I know that mission fairly well. That's the one where you repel into a courtyard and have two ways out. Strange that you're getting shot from a distance since the enemy is pretty far up the road and unless you're running around in the middle of it, they don't usually see you.

Use a scoped rifle and shoot them from afar. Watch out for snipers on the roofs as well.

Is it dark?

The NVGs help lightem up even if its only shade on a sunny day.
