ooh...I was looking for a PC Xbox Controller online...It turns out that you can use the existing console controller on a PC! My boy has a 360...I think I might be trying that out

You'll need to go to M$ to download the drivers but the corded XBox360 controls are probably the best controllers for use with a PC. If you have a wireless then you'll need a USB 2.4ghx wireless controller which M$ sells.

The only problem with the Dirt series is that it's turning more into an arcade style rather then the technical simulator that Colin McRae Rally was. The driving physics are pretty good even with the game pad.

I don't do a lot of games with the controllers but I've always been able to find/modify a profile when needed that works.

I'll put this out there:

XBOX360 Platform

I have a copy of Halo 3. My local Gamestop sells this used for $35.

http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/Prod...oduct_id=63851

I want a copy of Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (with the bonus content). Used, it's $27, new $30.
http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/Prod...oduct_id=66115

I would like to trade, if anyone's interested, my Halo 3 for your Oblivion Game of the Year edition.

If interested, lemme know (I know this is a flea market thing, but we DID talk about intra-thread trades).

BTW- before anyone trades a game away, post it up here. You might get a buyer or trader.

"Works" is a far cry from "Works well"

Well, for most games that are FPS's I use the old keyboard and mouse. It's a lot faster and since you have a larger range of movement, you get a more precise action. Anything that requires flying, driving or something more similar to a platform game, you really need to use something other then the keyboard to make your movements more fluid.

Big time. maybe I am old, but in FPS' with a controller, I always end up looking up at the sky while I get drilled. Thats why so many console FPS' have a targeting button.

Hmm. Must have been a while since I fired up GTAIV. Two updates to LIVE so far. great considering how useless LIVE is on a PC game

Maybe I'll get to play MGS4 after all.
