I can't remember the last time I laughed at a game so hard.

Just one fine example of what's possible. The soundtrack really makes this clip.
Now that is silly fun.

Spent about 7 hours beating the heat on Saturday by firing up Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Wow. One of the best single-player FPS I've played in a long time. It has some RPG aspects, but they don't get in the way of the FPS style like they did in Mass Effect.

Very deep storyline with some interesting side quests. Great graphics.

Only two real gripes... Some missions require a fair bit of running back and forth to accomplish them and the cut-scene volume is really high compared to the in-game volume.

Other than that, I'm really enjoying the game.

This one I have to play... Deus ex was always a bit rpg in character evolution, I remember the previous games gave the option to develop different playing styles (gunslinger, techie etc), they had some amazing upgrades...

Been replaying Uncharted 2 recently. What a fun game! However, I'm at the last boss battle with Lazaravich. Any ideas on how to defeat him?

They're remaking Golden Eye for the PS3.

Another one where everything just happens to be chest height and provides perfect cover.

I'm getting tired of that mechanic.

Not quite, there's an action button to make your guy take cover. You can crouch behind things or around corners. Hitting the 'fire' key will let you shoot around the cover.

I'm having trouble getting into DE:HR. I've got about 3 hours into it so far, and it's just not holding my attention. Which is a shame, it's such a fun game to play. Ah well, nothing wrong with spending my post-employment days playing BFBC2 and Age of Empires 2 right?

Fallout: New Vegas must have turned a lot of people off.

No mention at all of New World Blues or the upcoming Lonesome Road?
