I can't wait. So sick of 14yr olds running around knifing everything in sight. BF has much more of a team and actual strategy aspect to it.

I have yet to run into a Dwemer dungeon. Well I had one south of Whiterun but there wasn't a lot of stuff in that place. I also just found out that different enchantments put different values on the daggers. I'd been enchanting all my daggers with Fire, and was content on selling those for 90 at merchants. Found out last night that if you put Absorb Magicka or Absorb Health the values of the dagger goes up to 400-something. Major face-palm moment. I easily lost out on tens of thousands of gold by not paying attention to details. Ugh! |

absorb life is good, I have that on my sword... Is there a vendor that doesnt run out of money? I would think that raping the daggers over and over would deplete his income and make it more difficult?
The Dwemer dungeon I went in was part of the college of magic quest line. tattewell screwed with this post 11-17-2011 at 11:39 PM Reason: content |

Nah, I just use several vendors and then do a tour, Whiterun, Winterhold, and Riften selling my enchanted weapons and potions along the way. I'm at the point now where I'm buying stuff from vendors (soul gems, ingots, leather, ingredients) to give them more money so I can sell more stuff. I probably take a loss sometimes but that's the price you pay for skilling up. |

I'm glad I borrowed skyrim to give it a test run. I don't like it. Back to fallout new vegas for a bit longer.

They don't. They lurk in various forums for a couple of minutes and lust at other people's good fortune...

Dragons will get distracted from you by bears, and will ignore you to land and attack bears.
Bears do not change their perference and will continue to eat you while the dragon attacks them.

Hmm. I'm now six hours in to a game I don't like........
![]() It seems my biggest issue is no prior elder scrolls game history. Everything is new, and there is so much to try and understand. I could use a basic edition with about a tenth of the things to learn for the first go round. I'm just winging it for now. All the stuff ya'll are talking about makes absolutely no sense to me so far....

About to feed my Skyrim addiction, have withdrawal after a week of 12hr days at work so no way to play. Now 1/2 hr from 2 days off and I think I might try the main quest line for a bit. I decided to turn left when the quest wanted me to go right and I've been wandering ever since.

Lot's of time playing Skyrim this weekend.
Problem is there are a few of us in the house all playing it so we have to take turns. It's interesting to see how the game unfolds just a little differently for different players. Certain enchanted items are different at the same spots. When I got the Axe of Whiterun for my Imperial character is was enchanted with the soul snare but when Ben got it for his Orc character it was something different. He stayed mostly on the main story line missions yesterday but I think today I'm going to do a bunch of wandering around. |

I am glad I held off on buying Battlefield 3. Blockbuster has in their Black Friday ad BF3 for 29.99! Won't be long at all and that will be the everyday price (I am not going to BB at midnight to buy it, I have to work Friday
).I wasn't sure about buying it in the first place, but I really didn't want to spend $60 on it. $30 is much more palatable. ![]() Edit: the ad has it at that price for PS3 and XBox, not sure about PC yet. (I am buying PC version) |
