I'll work towards that. I think both my enchant and smithing are almost 90 now. I finally found something enchanted with fortify alchemy to learn that one, still haven't found anything for smithing. I'll start working on getting my alchemy up there as well. It's only in the mid 50's right now.

If you don't have it memorized, you're not playing enough!
Most of that is in the Stats menu. The rest is in Skills/Level Up menu. Difficulty is under Gameplay Options. Stuff like your name and what you're wearing (heavy armor, light armor, etc) you should probably just know.

I'm 60 hours in to it, and I still just barely like it. ![]() What amazes me is the shear amount of STUFF in this game. I really think Bethesda could have released this as three different games simultaneously, one for each style of play. There's enough content to support the cost of the game just following any one style of play. It could have had 75% of the quests in all three versions, and 25% based on the character style you choose. Diehards would spend the $$ for all three versions, and a year from now, it could be released as it is now as a all in one special edition package. I'm looking at the dollar per hour cost of entertainment, and this game is stinking cheap!

So the bow tells the total delves of the +enhancements of your armor/items? Not just to bow itself? Makes it a bit more plausible. How do you get dual enhancements? Best way to learn new enhancements? How do you make bows? Smithing? Is that bow a drop?

Yup, the sum total of all your enchantments is reflected on the Damage rating. Strip naked, look at the weapon rating, it will tell you the base damage of the weapon (taking into account your skill). Start putting on enchanted gear and you'll see the damage rating go up. Dual enchantments is the top tier perk in the Enchant constellation (requires 100 Enchanting + whichever path you take to get up there). There's only one way to learn new enchants. Find/buy items in the world with enchants, take them to the Arcane Enchanter, destroy them to learn the enchantments. Early on, after I did a run of missions or finish exploring I took all my gear up to the enchanter, found the items with enchants I don't yet know and destroyed them. You can make bows via smithing, yes. The ebony bow can be found in the world after Level 40 or so. I even have a daedric bow that I made but I've been waiting to max out my alchemy skill before I start smithing it. If you want good base damage ratings on your weapons Smithing is pretty much a must. Best to raise smithing skill along with enchanting. Make iron daggers, put your best enchantments on them, sell, profit. If you're still in doubt as to the plausibility of my bow...here's an even better one...

How the hell do you increase your carrying capacity/encumbrance? I'm constantly throwing shit out to make room for new/better shit.

Increased stamina, enchanted armor, and strength potions. The further along I get, the more selective I find I get about what to carry also.
