1) there wasn't a story that unfolded like it did in Fallout 3 2) there was no good or evil tracks. Everything was bad. 3) constantly having to wait for the program to load as one transitioned to different areas. Yes, you could jump to an area, but part of the fun is walking around and finding stuff or being attacked. |

Crap. With the forecast for three straight days of rain this weekend, I may have to do another round of FO3 myself.
Yes, best game ever.

City of Heroes, the first and best superhero-based MMO, is closing its doors.
![]() It was 8 years old and still profitable, employed a studio that had 80+ devs, designers and others responsible for content. NC Soft, the company that owns it (along with Guild Wars and Aion among others) decided to close it down and fire everyone. Really sad. I've played it casually for 8 years. One of the best interfaces, grouping design and character creators in any game ever. The 150,000+ players are reeling. The game was doing great and just had a ton of new content released. Sucks.

you can pick up borderlands used for that. very playable, imho. you could also probably pick up mass effect 1 or 2 for that. both are good for 20-30 hours of play, and have engaging stories. Farcry 2 is in that price range, I also spent probably 20-30 hours on that. Dragon Age 1 used is pretty cheap, not as engaging a story, but still pretty good. Might be able to pick up elder scrolls:morrowind and/or elder scrolls:oblivion for that price range. Most any of the yearly sports games can be had a year behind for very little money, if that is your thing. the first few assassins creeds are in that price range used, too. Not a TON of play time in the assassins creed games, but very rich visually, and lots of little side quests to complete.could get gears of war 1 or 2 for that price, fun if you like FPS. Splinter Cell - Conviction is another great one you can pick up cheap.

just picked up arkam city for 12 dollars used. so far it is also pretty fun to play!
also picked up lego harry potter 1-4 and 5-7 to play with the wife. we have a good time playing the lego games, and there is very little time investment, you can jump in and out at will, handy when having a 18 month old toddling about. |

I started a new skyrim this week myself . Trying to play as a pure mage this go round. Last time I was a heavy armor fighter who never used spells. Plays like a whole different game.
