First Encounter Armed Response.

FPS that's a little on the creepy side; it has a few jump out of the chair moments, kinda like Half Life when it first came out.

My 4 game in my rotation when I have time to play video games are,

Left 4 Dead
GTA4
COD4
Rainbow 6 Vegas 2

I think you can get all of them cheap now, except Left 4 dead.

It's actually First Encounter Assault Recon.
Don't play it late at night with the lights out. Or with a heart condition. A truly freaky game. Although it loses some of its suspense near the end.

Fallout 3 Super Mutant Behemoth. Pretty much impossible to take out without a Fatman. A shoulder launcher for Mini Nukes. How much more could you ask than that?

And for a little bit of wasteland music.

Ok, I'm on my lunchbreak and i swung by the local gamestop.

Turned in Saints Row and PGR3 for a grand total of $6.

And grabbed Fallout3 and a used copy of Rainbow Six: Vegas 2.

I'm thinking next time I decide to get something new and no specific, I'm going to go for Dead Space though. The video clips on gamespot look awesome.

I was looking at the STALKER website last night. It looks pretty sweet but I don't think my PC will run it.

It doesn't demand as much ram or video capability as most of the PC games now a days, but it's still just barely more than my old PC could handle.

My Mac has 1gig of RAM and a 256MB video card with a 2.4GHZ processor. It ran it pretty well but only if I turned dynamic lighting off. With that off I could run it at max definition the screen could handle pretty smoothly. I liked it because it was only set about 5 years in the future, so your tech was things like a PDA with GPS and some nice anti radiation suits, there are some cool things around but you have to find them in labs and such. Most of your weapons though are left over AKs, RPG7s and other left over soviet era weapons.

OK, I just got the PS3 version of Fallout 3.

I'm mainly a shooter type of gal (Call of Duty, Resistance) so this role playing is a bit different for me.

I just got outside the vault and it's just not happening for me.....so, it gets much better I presume? Cause I'm about to swap it...

Yeah, depending on it's popularity they don't give you much but I figured it was better than just tossing them.

Maybe there should be a vidya game or other media section in the FM.

Ill make you a deal on it, or maybe a straight swap for one of yours?

Maybe we should start a game trading thread to save us all a few bucks.
XPADREX as well.

I'm interested in swaping or buying used games. Anyone else? We could just keep it in this thread and post what we have and whether it's for sale, swap, or for loan.

I've actually been doing this with a co-worker, I bought a bunch or her sons used Wii games for $20 bucks each. I was excited to get a good deal on games that are still selling for $50 new and he was excited to be getting $20 to put toward a new game. Win-Win and cut out the middleman.

You've barely started. You haven't even started finding guns yet.
