I use it for certain games. Look in Steam and see if it has a happy control icon and if so it will play great with xbox 360 controller (or the new steam controller) and you will not miss anything.

After a few more hours, I'm figuring out more about Borderlands....how much stuff I can carry in the "backpack", etc. The answer to how many guns is "not enough". Found some high level loot last night, guns with a value of between $8,800 and 29,000. That's a lot of dough when you're finding $17-22 at a time in safes. In one of the expansion areas, the safes give up $500-700 at a time. Glad I loaded the GOTY expansion materials! Only problem is, I was getting chased by a level 35 assassin....that there's no way I could kill at level 10.

At least it's a little more interesting now.

Found Meat Popsicle. Holy Cow!

OK. Crappy weekend led to multiple borderlands 2 marathons for the boy and I. Both of us are level 20. It's a great time killer, but it's still easy to stop and walk away from. Story line really doesn't seem to hold my interest, and there's so many side missions, it seems all they are for is xp. I'd guess we'll play it through, but it's not like fallout or sky rim where I'll go back afterwards just to make sure I did everything, and see what happens when you do if differently.
I'll load up with another round of steam shopping at Christmas.

I've been playing Skyrim for the past week or so. Been neglecting War Thunder but that's not new. I'm also sitting on my second run through on Borderlands 2. Now sure what I'm going to do there.

Anyone see the new Star Wars Attack Squadron Beta? http://www.starwarsattacksquadrons.com/

I've been playing The Old Republic and WoT. Pretty much ignoring War Thunder for now until Tanks go open beta.

Did a KSP mission today to unlock more of the research tree:

Jet-assisted rockets work out pretty well.

Not quite in orbit yet:

Didn't see anyone's mentioned it but the Steam Holiday Sale is in full swing.

http://store.steampowered.com/

I might have to get Fez. Maybe even BioShock Infinite, too.

Haven't had much time in months to play games, but have been playing Borderlands for a week or so now on the 360. It's interesting, gut has some cheesy elements that they really need to fix. And from what I've heard about Borderlands 2, they didn't make it any better. I'm hooked, but finding the game frustrating so far. I wasn't expecting simulation level realism, but it's really out of whack. I don't really appreciate having enemies that can throw grenades 1/4 of a mile, and throw tomahawks 1/2 mile, around corners and through thick concrete walls.

Quick note: Benzos and FPS's online = not a good mix

Xbox can officially suck my balls. Whatever stupid shit they changed on the 360 user agreement this week has it so none of my accounts can get on gold, and after spending the better part of the day trying to remember what email accounts are associated with what profiles and crap because I need to log in on a computer, I give up. When trying to log in with my boys email that was tied to his profile, every time I try to log in, it says no account is tied to that email, create new. Every time I try to create new, it says there's already an account on that email, log in......

That's why you should never use throwaway info/email addys when creating online accounts. You're going to lose your entire online library if/when you (invariably) forget the login details.

Xbox will only let you create one live account per email address. As a responsible parent, shouldn't you be able to create child accounts using the same email address as the parent account? Fuck 'em. There's nothing important enough tied to anything in that account to not let them all rot away. Of course, I've been trying to create a new one for the last day, and it always says new live accounts cannot be created at this time, please try again later.

Oh yeah, picked up far cry 3 on steam sale yesterday, and see the standalone Day Z alpha is now available. I'll hold off on buying it a bit longer as it's not on sale, and won't be on sale any time soon.
We're still playing borderlands 2 pretty much nonstop at this point, doing every side mission we can find, and only moving the main story along as needed. Just ran in to Brick last night. How far along the main story line is that?

I've used to game every day for hours.... PS3, 360, PC (My favorite...) .

Now I am on for maybe a few hours in a week and been playing FFXIV with my brothers. They live farther away now so we just use steam and voice chat while we play.

Anyone else play FFXIV?

Or on steam? ZaethDekar is my screen name if you want to add me as a friend, I have too many games but they are all ready to play whenever I hop online.
