Kevin Spacey above though is a good example of this. Don't you find it a bit uneasy to watch him? He looks very real, but some details are a bit un-natural, triggering a deeply subconscious revulsion and mistrust...
Exactly!

It does for me but my life is images. But you're right.

but a lot of the technical reasons why are the same as the cars which is why I used it. I can't find it on youtube but there's a scene in Tron Legacy where CGI Jeff Bridges is with his kid (not the CGI version in the computer) and they do a closeup of his face and the reflections in the eyes are a lot like it.

Meh. Something got lost within the frenetic pace of the COD games over the years. It's almost too much stimulation.

Both COD and MOH have jumped the shark story-wise. The game play was better when they were still doing WWII. It's like you're on a rail now. So you 're either walking or running from point to point then have all hell break loose then you run to the next trigger spot and repeat. They don't put that much time in developing a plausible story anymore. Most people will not even play SP and jump straight to MP. They should just give up the storyline like Battlefield.

Hence the term "on-rails".

That would suck for guys like me that play SP exclusively.

It's still possible to make an engaging, original SP game. Take Medal of Honor, for instance which was in the first Humble Bundle. Fantastic fkn game.

I was reading an article about Steam's service a few weeks ago, and they dug into the data and found that something like 75% of players have never even turned on the single player mode of the last few Call of Dutys.

Count me in that 75%.

Ugh. More games I'll buy and never play.

Biggest problem I'm having with bundles right now is that I always end up with duplicates in my Steam account.

Yeah, I have that happen on occasion. I will generally post the code for the game on here for anyone who wants it.

I would as well, but some of the bundles give you the Steam codes all at once. Or I can't remember if I have something already....that's happened more than once.

http://www.collectorz.com/game/

I use their movie collector and book collector software.

For games I have all the keys in an email folder, but once in a while I still get stuck with either bundled duplicates (with GOTY editions) or have to buy intelliMac versions.
