What could be behind that hill? I just have to look.

It's awful. Especially because usually there is just another hill and a rock.

I hate when you're walking and hear a "boom!" and then hear another one.

I just always have to go see if someone needs killin' done.

Looks like you're waiting until September.

The good news is Broken Steel is supposed to be first; that keeps the game going past the main quest and ups the level cap to 30.

The quotes I read said they're having trouble doing all the stupid little "awards" for the online profile. bfd.

Check out what comes in the "Prestige Edition" of Modern Warfare 2.

Working NVGs for $149, I'm all over it. I doubt it's gonna price that low though.

Has anyone had their Xbox360 console stop reading the discs? Ours seems to have crapped out today, when you put a disc in the tray it makes a weird noise that kind of a cross between a clicking and a buzzing for a few seconds and then the dashboard just reads "Open Tray". I'm thinking the disc isn't spinning at all but there is no error message and it's not the red ring of death.

Damn.

Mine does it a lot with my copy of rainbow six vegas 2, but I haven't had any issues with any other games.

I tried a couple different games and it was the same. The troubleshooting page on Xbox.com indicated that it could be an overheating issue if the disc is spinning but I can't tell for sure if it is or not.

The kids were playing Halo 3 all morning and then turned it off to watch TV for a little while and then it wouldn't work when they tried to turn it back on.

Gamestop sells refurbished ones for around $170, come with a free wireless controller.

You might see if they'll give you a core charge for the old one.

Would it be overly optimistic to hope that it magically fixes itself overnight?

On the bright side $170 is still cheaper than a babysitter.
