Wow....

That looks almost like the first bike I ever owned. I would make you an offer that you couldn't refuse if it wasn't a continent away.

Memories.....

I'll be frightened if / when I ever hit 60 mph.

My '78 unrestored R100RS in front of the Iowa state capitol in Des Moines. Yeah it looks clean, but it is a twenty footer at best. I no longer own this ole bike as the economy dictated I sell it. It was a good rider that took me many places. This bike is featured in the thread I started, "Let's see your RS!"

I just got this one running again after it sat for close to nine years. 15,000 miles all original except for Progressive shocks, Bub mufflers, Dyna S ignition. My wife's bike.

Here is a nice complete 1970 Yamaha DT-1 that I picked up last fall off of craigslist for free. Seemed all original except for the carb and the awesome Hooker Header. Needed the top end re-assembled and some soldering in the magneto but it came with all the necessary parts and a bunch of extras. The only thing I had to by was a foot of fuel line for the oil injection.

cd175

My 1970 CD175 a year and a half ago when I brought it home.

Since then I've:
washed and shined
Changed the tires
put an air box on it (it was running some foam and a zip tie)
replaced the 6v rectifier with a solid state jobbie
Tuned and timed
Cleaned the carb and cleaned and coated the tank
Put a new(er) set of mufflers on it
and some new peg rubber
and washed and shined
