This Morning...

Tomorrow makes a week since I got mine back on the road again with new (to me) YZ front end, PivotPegz, ProTaper bars, Cycra handguards and cushy Corbin saddle. Plus a revalved rear stock shock with compression adjustment added. Oh and a pipe off an RC51 sportbike and YZ front fender. Already I've piled another 1K more miles on her (73K total now).

Next will be some black Excel rims on these hubs, going to an 18" rear.

So what is it you plan to be using this configuration for? Looks to me like it could use a Recoiless Rifle mounted or somesuch...

Truth be told I'll be using this set up to ride to and from down town Seattle . I'll be doing as much adventure dual sporting as I can when the snow in the mountains melts though. I'm contemplaiting entering Washingtons biggest off road race in it April 1st. The Desert 100 is held in the deserts of eastern Washingon every year and over 1200 riders will start the race in two massive waves. This year they have opened a new class for adventure bikes. I did this race last year on my WR250F Yamaha, but the adventure bike class is only one 50 mile lap not two. It's a long way to be battleing wheel to wheel with that many other riders. I DNFed last year. Just trying to deside if 100 miles on a 250lbs bike will be tougher than 50 miles on a 385lbs bike.

Open an account at an online host (smugmug (my fav), photobucket, flickr, etc). Upload your pic to there, then post it here by copying the URL and pasting it using the insert image icon.
