Side stand relocated

So I finally got around to moving my side stand, and I raised the bike back up to its full ride hight. I'm a little more used to the bike now and think I'll be ok. It shouldn't bottom out any more when I hit the big whoops and jumps.

Heading out to the desert tomorrow to go ride with a bunch of plated 450s, I'll try to keep up

I have the same TT rally pegs. Please take some close up shots of how you mounted the sidestand to these.

This was a bracket I got from Touratech avalable for the 650RR and the Oryx kit. It puts the sidestand at a much steeper angle as well. I had to cut about an inch off the side stand to make it work. Thanks for the pics you sent me in March Parx, I literally had to give TT a picture for them to order me this from Germany :)

Thanks for close ups. I see I can't use this part since I already have a centerstand and they appear to use the same LHS mount. I'll try to fab something up I guess (or get it fab'ed). It's not rocket science.

Just get the trail tech one mate. It's a solid aluminium rod. I though you'd like that type of rod.

I'm not sure that TT will sell this bracket unless you have one of the TT kits, but it's worth asking. I had to give them this picture, then they ordered it from Germany. They couldn't give me price until after it turned up, it took about a month and final cost was $75. Yes it uses the center stand mount, and like I said I had to cut my side stand and weld on a new foot.

A couple more pics

Took the bike out to centeral Washington for a desert ride yesterday. It was rocky, rocky as hell! My steering head bearing adjustment backed off (oops I guess I didn't set this up tight enough) So miles of very rocky "roads" ridden with the head brearings banging around. Time for new bearings I think.

got any pics of this set-up?

did you order a universal one and then fabricate a bracket?
I bashed the shit out of mine and need to replace it. also need to replace the lower sub-frame. But first I need to grind off the bolts holding on the skid plate.
