Just remembered to get a picture off of my phone of my new (to me) bike, a bike I bought on advrider. It's a giant NRS-1. Love it! Suits my riding style well, and I was long overdue for getting a full suspension bike with disc brakes.

Pinarello & Scott

I got these two off of a fellow inmate.
Rode the Scott last week.
It's like cheating compared to my 60# Cannondale commuter.

More pictures to follow.

I found that on eBay a couple of years ago and bought it.
My brother, RDRCE698, (Soma Stanya a few posts back) has it at his house right now.
He used to use it as his grocery getter but lately he's a f'in' slacker!!!

Wow, ADV always surprises me. Cool thread and you'd have to guess that a love of two wheels runs the gamut. Just like motorcycles and potato chips you can't have just one so I have three that I love all for their own reasons.

My mountain bike is an Ibis Mojo. Carbon, light and plenty of travel. It's really perfect now that I'm in Oregon but it was a sweet ride in Moab too. Dropper post is essential.

In NYC I have my 20 year old Cannondale mountain bike that was stripped by thieves and then by me to become a 100% theft proof and simple single speed for NYC. To prove the theory I left it locked outside for two years and never lost a part - Ha thieves - take that!. It lives inside my studio now and is my transportation to and from Spannerland.

Finally is my Oregon "do everything" bike. It is mostly for towing my kids to school and back in a trailer which they absolutely love. It started as a Cannondale Bad Boy Solo because I always dug the single sided front end and wanted to use that as a base. I converted it to drop bars with Campy Ergo levers into Shimano derailleurs courtesy of a J-Tek pulley. I like disk brakes and wanted to keep them so went with a Hope conversion to have the hydro's and then mixed it up between my all black bike and my all white bike and did the "swirl" which is appropriate since this bike lives in the middle.

Summer sans fenders:

And with fenders as the all weather commuter:

Just like children I have favorites and love some more than others...
